Y/N's POV: We make our way up the doc and back into the boat house. Nothing heard but our breathing and footsteps until Leon's ear piece starts going off.

"Hold on. Gimme a sec." He says as he answers the call.

"Condor one to Roost. Do you read me?" I always loved hearing him talk. It really is so calming. Although no matter how much time I spend with him I always feel nervous around him.

"Yeah... I'm fine. Won't let it happen again." He keeps his hand on his ear piece as he talks. Breaking any storage boxes he sees as we move. I wonder what they're talking about. I let my mind travel as I listen to him talk. If I think about anything else I'm afraid I'll panic.

Not the ideal person to be stuck in these situations. Especially compared to Leon I feel so breakable.

"Still looking for whatever "key" I need." He looks around letting his eyes rest on me for a second as he searches.

I don't know what it is about him, but I've never felt so drawn to a person before. Not even Katie...

After some time and a couple boat trips we found our way into a weird maze kind of thing. I mean it seemed like a house but it has all kinds of secret doors and weird yellow symbols on the wall. Leon thinks it's the password to something so we're currently trying to figure out the order.

Thankfully that pain from earlier hasn't come back yet.

Leon attempts to open a door but it's locked. "Hm. Won't open." He mumbles as he runs around the corner again.

Sometimes he reminds me of the little kids I used to see at work back before the Raccoon city Incident. When their parents would finally give them permission to get a few snacks from the convenience store so they would run around excitedly trying to figure out what to get. The joy in their eyes as I'd ring up their snacks.

I mean, of course he's not a child, nor is he excited to be here... but I enjoy watching his eyes light up when he finds something new like a key or solves a puzzle.

I'm pulled out of my memory when I hear a thud and a grunt come from the side Leon had run off to. I hesitantly round the corner to find another ledge he had jumped off of. I peek over, as he stands there waiting for me to get to the ledge. He's so cute and patient. I can't help but smile.

I sit down on the ledge scooting off until I drop, letting him catch me like before. "You okay?" He asks as he puts me down.

"Yessir, You?" I ask as we make our way to the weird button puzzle we were trying to figure out the code to.

"Heh, Yeah." I swiftly look at him, my brows furrowed in confusion as I question his odd response. He has a grin on his face and his cheeks came to a slight blush. OH?!

"What is it?" I ask, earning his side eye as he grins at me.

"When did yessir become a thing?" He questions as he goes to put in the order he had remembered.

"BAHAHAHAHAHAHA LEON." I turn away from him feeling heat rush to my face.

"Shhhh shut up we don't know who or if someone's here." He says letting a chuckle leave his mouth. I giggle listening to him. SO freaking contagious. I wish it wasn't so rare when he laughed  I don't blame him though. I turn back around just as he gets the door open.

His face is concentrated again as he focuses back on the mission. I follow behind him as he enters the room he had just opened.

It must have been so locked up because of the statues in here. Apparently we need the head of the statue to unlock another puzzle. I'm not really sure what it all leads to, but I trust Leon. Just following him and doing as he says.
