Y/N's POV: Eventually we find our way out of that part of the village, Leon in the lead of course and we make our way to a church. Few words said in-between our awkward silence, we mostly spoke to check on each other or crack a cheesy joke.

"A church, we made it." He turns his head giving me a small successful smile as we stop at the gate, letting his side profile shine. Oh my god he is absolutely gorgeous. He turns back to the church gate as I break my stare. Y/N come on. Seriously focus.

We look around the church a bit checking for materials. Leon found some ammo in an old storage box outside a house as I stay behind him. "Back up a little." He says as he creeps toward the house door.

I back up, pulling out my pistol incase he needs help. He opens the door as a villager lunges at him, earning a stab to the throat. Leon stabs him three times before he lands a melee kick to his neck, easily killing him.

I watch in awe as every muscle in his body flexes as he moves. The urge to just squeeze his arm was getting to be too much to bare. Eventually villagers start to attack more frequently as we notice the gate to the church was open.

We run in as he locks it behind us, leaving the rest of them on the other side of the gate.

Leon makes his way to the gate in front of the church door between two pillars, wiggling it for entry. "Damn it." He says in a defeated tone. It's no use. It was locked and needed some really odd looking key.

"Hold on, gotta make another call." I nod as he steps away from the gate, holding a finger to his ear.

"Condor one to Roost. The church is sealed up."

"And baby eagle?"

"Negative. Nothing yet. But they sure do have this place locked up tight." He adds looking back to the church, taking in his surroundings. Hm... I wonder who baby eagle is.

"I see. I can think of one reason they'd want to do so."

"Oh she's here, that's for sure. I'll find a way in. Condor one, out." He hangs up the phone turning back to me. "We've gotta dig around and find a way in." He says moving past me, looking around for possible entry points.

"Okay. Hey Leon, If you don't mind me asking... Who is baby eagle?" I ask, his attention still not on me as he searches around.

"She's the mission. The president's daughter. She's the only reason I'm here." He says glancing to me as he continues.

"Oh." I don't know why, but the way he worded that kind of made my chest hurt. I turn my attention now away from him, beginning to look as well.

Leon finds a path way that seems to lead to somewhere around the church. "Hey follow me, and stay close." He nods me forward, breaking storage boxes and barrels to find either money or ammo. I stay quiet as I follow behind him. He keeps his attention on the mission.

Leon's POV: After walking for a while we found our way to another gate. She stays behind me as I open it. The gate opened to reveal a balcony looking ledge that looked over a lake. I noticed another pair of binoculars sitting on the ledge that looks out towards the lake.

I signal Y/N to move forward, she stays quiet as she follows my lead. I pick up the binoculars, looking closer to the lake as my eyes are caught by two men on a boat. One on either side, facing each other.

They seem to be reaching for something deeper in the boat. Soon a decapitated body is revealed as they pick it up before they quickly dumping it into the lake. "Fuck." A shiver runs down my spine as I watch the corpse float as the guys speed away.
