Wei Wuxian started questioning how he ended up with Lan Wangji, and how they ended up with a son. The two have interacted a couple times but it was Wei Wuxian who has taken the initiative to become friends. Lan Wangji has shown no signs of wanting to be his friend let alone marry him. He sat down in his seat and many things ran through his head. Tears even started to build in his eyes and his lungs felt like they were lacking air. He breaths were sporadic and he could no longer hear others talking within the room as his ears started ringing.

I'm not worthy of him.

I am not good enough.

I am just a son of a servant.

I'm not an heir and I cannot give him anything in return.

Why on earth would he even give me a chance? I have been annoying as hell to him since I've been here.

Lan Wangji glanced at Wei Wuxian. He could see the questions swimming in his eyes. He had only seen this man hyperactive and annoying him like crazy. To see him like this was a bit concerning. He looked like he was in more shock then Wangji was. He even looked like he was having trouble breathing and his eyes were swelling up with tears. He has never seen Wuxian in such a state before.

"I think before we get more answers, I will write to the Jiang's and ask for their presence," Xichen said.

"Uncle, could you also ask Sect Leader Nie and the Wen Siblings to come, as well as Madam Jin? Not Jin Guangshan, just his wife?" Sizhui asked, "and no Meng Yao either."

"Why?" Xichen asked.

"There are reasons for that and we will explain when everyone is here," Sizhui said.

"Where will we stay while we wait?" Jin Ling asked.

"Jin Ling could room with me?" Jin Zixuan said.

"I appreciate that Father but I am married to Sizhui so I would like to be with him," Jin Ling said.

"Our sons got married?" Yanli asked, looking at Wuxian.

Wuxian snapped out of his shock long enough to speak, "hey, don't look at me, I am not from their timeline."

"Wangji, there is a spare guest house near the Jingshi, would you mind them staying there?" Xichen asked.

Wangji nodded, "it is fine," Wangji then escorted them to the guest house. Wuxian decided to go with as he wanted to see Sizhui and Jin Ling interact.

"A'Die, mind if I still call you A'Die?" Sizhui asked Wangji.

"Mnn," Wangji approved.

"I am just whispering because this involves Baba," he said, "can we talk privately?"

"Come," Wangji took Sizhui to Jingshi. Wuxian stayed with Jin Ling until Sizhui returned, "what did you want to tell me?"

"I know how your love story went with Baba," he said, "which is what will be explained as it is part of the future you will end up facing. The thing is, it may seem like he is always smiling and happy to everyone's eyes, but he carries more pain than any other man I have ever met. You will understand more later but I just ask that you give him a chance. I know he is annoying sometimes but he honestly acts out because it's his only way of getting attention. Otherwise, when he gets attention, he is berated for something that is beyond his control. If you want to keep him with you, I will say this, he commits suicide in the future because he lost everything. Even though you tried to stick by his side, he was so blind with pain that he didn't realize it. He needs you more than anyone."

"He died?" Wangji asked. He was so shocked by what Sizhui was telling him, "what happened to him?"

"A'Die, he did return after a sacrifice summon and his soul possessed another body. You were the first to recognize him. You mourned him for thirteen years while you were raising me. He gave birth to me, you know," Sizhui said.

Wangji blinked a couple of times as he tried to comprehend what he just heard...he can get pregnant?

Sizhui grinned as he could see the knowing look in Wangji's eyes. He could see curiosity, "I could tell by the way you were looking at him earlier that you noticed he was having a dilemma. Will you promise me to try? Be patient with him and try to tolerate his behavior. I remember him telling me before he met you, he was always crying himself to sleep. He felt so alone and he couldn't speak to his sworn siblings about how he felt. He isn't one to talk about his feelings because he doesn't want to burden others. That's how he feels," Sizhui explained, "Oh, and back in my original timeline, I even have two other siblings they are twins, two little girls and they are both three. Baba is currently pregnant again before I traveled to this timeline."

Wangji's ears began turning pink, He is definitely Wei Ying's son, has a shameless side...but how can I not believe him. If he grew up in the Lan Sect he knows the rules very well. Wangji could only sigh before bringing the conversation back to the main topic, "I promise, if you ever need to talk about anything especially about him, come to me," Wangji said, "I will try to do what I can."

Wangji walked Sizhui back to his guest house before going to visit his brother. He needed to talk to someone. Everything that Sizhui had just told him broke his heart. He didn't know how to process any of it.

"Xiongzhang?" Wangji knocked.

Xichen let him in and he could see that Wangji was upset about something. The moment Xichen closed the door Wangji threw his arms around his brother and started crying. It completely took Xichen by surprise. This was a side of Wangji he hadn't seen in a long time. For Wangji to come to him like this means he is really having a hard time about something.

"Wangji?" Xichen questioned as he sat down with him at the table, "what happened?"

"Sizhui told me some things about Wei Ying that took me by surprise and I didn't know how to process it. I don't know what to do," Wangji told him.

"Can you tell me what Sizhui said?" Xichen asked.

"He didn't tell me the reasons for it, but in the future, Wei Ying was in so much pain that he killed himself...and his pain was so bad that he didn't even realize I was still by his side," Wangji explained, "he told me that even though he is so happy and smiling all the time he was so lonely...something bad must have happened in Lotus Pier."

Lan Xichen was so surprised. A man like Wei Wuxian seemed as if he could light up an entire room. To hear that he committed suicide in the future was a lot to take in. It means that his brother will also be in pain at that time. He wanted to know what exactly happened.

"Did Sizhui say anything else?"

"He said that the future kind of revolves around Wei Ying...and I don't know how to think about that," Wangji said, "so I'm just worried."

"I am here for you and I will help you with him. I will keep an eye on him, okay," Xichen said, "whatever happened, we will not let it repeat."

"Promise?" Wangji asked.

"I promise you," Xichen said.
