Wangji and Wuxian spent those five days meditating in that formula bath as Baoshan had instructed. On the sixth day, she had the two follow her into a cultivation chamber, "as you two are soul-bonds, it is best that you meditate together for this final step. This will take several days. The process is a little different for soul-bonds but it's still very much the same. That platform in the center of the room is surrounded by ancient water that has been flowing through the mountains for centuries. The water has naturally energy that has long since helped with spiritual enlightenment and immortality. You two need to sit in the center of the platform and meditate. From there, you'll be guided through the process. I will not be here as this is a private space, especially for soul-bonds. I will leave you to it," Baoshan explained and left the two alone.

After Baoshan left, the two suddenly felt as if they needed their robes off so they took them off and were only in their trousers. They even removed their boots. This cultivation chapter was actually really beautiful. The water was clear as crystal but down below, there was blue ice. Within that ice was the energy that Baoshan spoke of. There were waterfalls calmly flowing from the walls. The walls itself were pretty, covered in glowing crystals. It all seems so serene.

The two stood in the center platform and turned to face each other. They sat down in a lotus position, and held hands. They closed their eyes and felt their minds slipping into meditation. The room around them began to glow, feeling the energy radiating from Wangji and Wuxian in the center. The water around them rose to create a barrier over them. Anyone from the other side couldn't see in and the two couldn't see out. Inside felt so private.

Their eyes opened and there was a slight glow coming from them. Wuxian's glowed red while Wangji's glowed blue. The two stood and held each other in their arms. It was like they transcended to another world. They knew what there were doing but at the same time, they did not. The two kissed and felt the energy between them start to flow through their bodies and mingle.

The platform underneath them turned from stone to a soft bed of green grass. The two laid down, Wuxian under Wangji and they were kissing. It was as if this was what they were supposed to be doing. The two were lost in the moment when they felt something warm wrap around their waists. Wangji and Wuxian pulled from the kiss to see the water removing their trousers with ease.

"I take it we are to dual cultivate," Wuxian suggested.

"Seems so," Wangji replied, "I can see how it is different for soul bonds."

"Alone there is probably a different process but together, we do this together," Wuxian said.

Wangji smiled and kissed Wuxian again. They got lost in each other. Letting their love guide them through the process. This wasn't the same as them being beasts in bed but this was more passionate and sensual. More calm and loving. Wuxian felt so connected to Wangji that he felt his spiritual energy merge with Wangji's. Wuxian moaned upon the merge, which meant they were connected and the change to immortality could take place.

Wangji felt so warm and relaxed. He felt soothed by the touch of his husband and the feeling of his energy mixing with Wuxian's was just a bonus. Wangji felt that he was so high in a euphoric state that he continued to love Wuxian with everything in him. The moment the two released due to immense pleasure, their bodies began to glow brighter. They felt their golden cores spinning faster and faster and the heat only increased. Soon the core dispersed into their bodies soaking into their spiritual veins. They felt a newfound sense of strength, power, and energy. The two parted and stood, still holding each other close together the water around them flowed over their bodies, cleansing them of any lingering toxins. They had been cleansed of any negative energy and soaked with new energy. The energy from the chamber gave the two a small piece of it to continue their journey as newfound immortals. That was the final process, they had energy from the room to increase their power but giving them eternal life.

The wall of water around them fell back into the pool below the platform. Now naked, Wangji and Wuxian made their way over to their clothes that were nearly folded and waiting to be worn again. Once dressed, the two sat down in the center of the platform again and meditated one more time. This was to allow them to connect with their new energy and learn how it flows now. They must learn the new energy within them before they can begin their journey with their training.
