Wei Wuxian and Wangji were needed to make a move soon. They couldn't hide away forever. The news about Lotus Pier was soon brought to their attention when Sizhui sent Jingyi a message about what happened. There were only a third of the people who lost their lives but it's different then losing everyone. Madam Yu and Sect Leader Jiang were both injured but will survive through it.

Wen Chao went to Lotus Pier with his Mistress to seek out information about Wei Wuxian and Wangji. They didn't have any news of the two but the Wens wouldn't take no for an answer. Wen Chao was on a rampage now that his brother, father, and Wen Zhuliu were dead. Even though Wuxian lost a lot of respect and care towards most of the people in the Jiang Sect, he was still relieved to hear that the main family was alive. Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng were alive and helping the sect recover from the ambush.

Unfortunately, when Wen Chao saw he was losing, he withdrew his forces and fled. As always, Wen Chao was a coward and when he was close to failing and even death, he would find a way to escape before it was too late. Wuxian wanted to end that Wen prick and soon.

"Lan Zhan, what about Wen Qing and her family?" Wuxian asked one day.

"Hmm, we will have to find a safe location to move her and her family," Wangji said.

"I did reach out to Shufu about that and he and Chifeng Zun agreed to help them. They would actually be safest in Qinghe within the Nie Sect. Plus, as healers, Chifeng Zun thought it would be beneficial for his sect to have them as they always have issues with their sabers and their type of cultivation methods," Lan Xichen told them.

"Well, I guess that could work," Wuxian said, "plus, Chifeng Zun is a very strong and capable fighter and leader. He keeps to his words well."

"Absolutely," Xichen said, "as for the rest of the Wen Sect, Chifeng Zun has been setting up a location for a camp. That will be where everyone will meet for the Sunshot campaign. Wen Chao may be a coward but he still can be very cunning. It is not a secret that he likes to torture people."

"I think it's a main blood thing within the Wen Sect," Wuxian said.

"Possibly," Xichen said.

"I know that I can help with this war but as someone who is skilled in arrays, charms, and talismans, I want to try to find a way to help Sizhui, Jin Ling, and Jingyi back to their current timeline. I am not sure how much as changed for them but I feel like it's just time for them to get back to their...families," Wuxian said and giggled, "even though we technically are but just younger."

Wangji smiled, "we understand what you mean."

"Even though I took them for safe keeping, there is still books with me from the Library of our sect. When the time is right, I will return them to Shufu. While we have them, maybe there is something in there that could be helpful for you," Xichen said.

"Are you sure?" Wuxian asked.

"Of course, I trust you," Xichen said and went to go get the pouch that had the books in it. He then handed it to Wuxian, "Wangji and I can help you with whatever you need."

"Am I invisible?" Jingyi asked.

"Do you know anything about making charms, arrays, or talismans?" Wuxian asked him.

"I know basic talismans...you only just started teaching that kind of class in my current timeline but since you are pregnant at the moment, you are on leave," Jingyi said, "so unfortunately not at the moment."

"I am glad that I am able to teach classes at Cloud Recesses but did I hear that right? Pregnant?" Wuxian asked.

"Yes, aside from Sizhui you have twin daughters who are three and another baby on the way. Did he not tell you that?" Jingyi explained.

Wuxian was blushing big time, "ugh, I do not know what to say. If he told me it slipped my mind...wow," Wuxian said, "who knew that Lan Zhan and I were so proactive."

"Oh, it's bad," Jingyi said, "Sizhui told me that he heard Hanguang Jun say to you that it's a promise you two do it every day...though now that a baby is on the way, I don't know what you two do."

Wuxian was getting more embarrassed, "Lan Zhan, what gives?"

"I'm not the only one to blame in this. It take two to make a baby," Wangji said.

Wuxian hung his head back and sighed, "I am so doomed."

"Did you know you invented a privacy charm that never goes away unless you remove it. There is one that someone can use and it will disappear within the following morning, but the one you use is always up. Even my father is nervous about going to the Jingshi as he accidentally walked in on you two a couple times because you forgot to lock the door," Jingyi said.

"Jingyi, is you say anything more about this, you will know exactly what some of my talismans can do. I may even use you as a test dummy," Wuxian warned.

"A'Die, would you let him do that?" Jingyi asked.

"Yes," Xichen replied with a chuckle, "you keep running your mouth, it will get you in trouble."

"Fine," Jingyi said, "I will cool it."

"Good," Wuxian said and looked at Wangji, "but everyday?"

"Sounds fun," Wangji said with a shrug.

"You are not the one at the receiving end," Wuxian told him, "how did you not break me? You know how strong you are?"

"I would never break you," Wangji said, "I'm sure I make sure you are as comfortable as possible."

"You two really have remained abstinent since being together?" Xichen asked.

"Mnn, most we do is kiss," Wangji replied.

"Impressive," Xichen said.

"Can we change the subject please?" Wuxian asked, "and just so you know, I didn't know I could get pregnant until Sizhui came to this timeline."

"It's a rare gene that some male cultivators carry. They won't know either until they actually get pregnant. Some may know before hand but it's a rare occurrence but it's possible," Xichen said, "and yes, we can change the subject. We were talking about finding a way to get the three juniors back home anyway."

"It would be nice if I knew what the array looked like that got them here," Wuxian said.

"I remember what it looks like, I just need some paper and ink and I can draw it up for you," Jingyi said.

"Oh, you actually are useful for something other than running your mouth," Wuxian said.

"For that I should not draw it out," Jingyi said.

"If you do not draw it out, you will be punished," Xichen warned, "do you want to get home or not?"

"Since you never punish me back in my personal timeline, I would love to go home," Jingyi said.

"I'm sure that will change," Xichen said. Jingyi grumbled in defeat as he drew out the array for Wuxian.
