"You okay?" Ray worriedly stares at Sam

Sam stares in shock, her breath still bouncing

"Who the f#ck are you?" Lin grits his teeth

"He-he-Ray, I'm-I'm so-o sor-sorry" Sam gets up, starting to tear up again

"Hey, none of that, no crying, am I gonna have to give you more nachos or some sh!t?" Ray sighs, putting a hand on his hip

Sam blows into another tissue, once she throws it away, she takes a sudden deep breath

"You're Ray?" Diantha questions

"Not to sound like an a$$, but...can I just talk to Sam real quick?" Ray glances at Diantha

"Oh, r-r-ri-r-ri-righ-r-nevermind" Diantha looks away

Lin carefully puts his sword away, leaning against the wall

"I'm...I'm sorry" Sam shakes her hung head

Ray stays silent, puckering his lips to the side

"If there's anything that...that I can do to make it back up to you, then I will, so please...please" Sam's eyebrows arch upward, gazing longingly at Ray

"...You feeling any better?" Ray sighs

Sam stays silent

"...The first time you kill anybody, it's...it's always the scariest...hell, I guess I should apologize that I couldn't be here sooner...I've got no excuses" Ray rubs his forehead

Sam shakes her head, then peers back to the ground

"But..." Ray slowly nods, "...you did good, I can...I can tell you've really been trying your heart out, I mean, d*mn, that sword work wasn't bad...you're...I know it probably doesn't mean much, but I'm proud of you, now just another quick question..." Ray rubs his wrist, rolling it around as well

"Huh?" Sam gazes back on him, tilting her head

"Do you want me to kill that announcer sunuvab!tch or no? That was a jacka$$ move" Ray crosses his arms, standing prominently on his right leg

"No, no, it's...no...there's been...way too much blood already" Sam declines, grabbing her elbow

"Alright...well...think of it this way, your gods just decided that they should go to the afterlife today, you were just a harbinger of the freaking cosmos, not to mention, they gave their life up as soon as they got in the tournament, okay?" Ray lowers his chin, raising an eyebrow

"Yeah...I...guess...so..." Sam sighs

"...Can somebody else comfort her? The words just aren't coming to my mind and it sucks" Ray groans, knocking on his skull

"Yeah, like what...Ray?" Diantha glances at him

"Mhm" Ray sticks his thumb up

"Like what Ray was saying, if you didn't kill them, somebody else woul-actually...no, I don't think anybody else could have, now that I think about it" Diantha skims around the room

"I might have..." Lin mutters

"You leave yourself open too much" Ray scrutinizes Lin, grinning

"How?" Lin furrows his brows

"I'll tell you later" Ray flips his head back to Sam, waving Lin off

"...Diantha is correct, had you not been there, we would have died, I know my abilities can only go so far...and they could not have gone that far" Watt shakes his head

"Exactly, so instead of killing one person, you saved...what, eleven people? So really, if you balanced that out, you saved 10 people" Diantha rubs Sam's shoulder
