Would it be a lie if team talia was sure they would win?
Yes, it would be.
They weren't some robots or divine creatures.
The four of them were simply children who were raised so high that they were scared to look down.
Team talia was standing on a mountain and with one wrong move, they would come tumbling down without a rope to hang on.
Fame has always been a double-edged sword.
It brought them and their village multiple opportunities for growth and development yet it also made people wary of them.
Everyone always had high hopes for them.
Oh, who is fighting? It's team talia? They'll definitely win.
So what if they were literal teenagers fighting highly trained and experienced adults?
To others, this didn't matter.
All they focused on were the results that the four ninjas provided.
Putting up with pressure was hard and they did it for the longest time.
It would be a lie if the four said they were confident that they would win without a hitch, but they had to act like that.
After all, in order to fool others, you should be able to fool yourself.
In the end, the only thing that mattered to the audience was the results.
Results involving them winning.
