"Tch, useless," Sakura muttered as she saw the unconscious Sasuke and Naruto.

She pretended to be scared in front of that snake and thankfully he was too focused on Sasuke to realise that she had swapped the real earth scroll with a fake one.

Now, she only needed to find the heaven scroll to pass.

Checking the two unconscious boys she realised they would only wake up after an hour or so.

She decided that it would be better to just go alone by avoiding all the Konoha teams so she could search for the heaven scroll.

Thankfully she had good chakra-sensing skills so avoiding the teams from Konoha was a piece of cake for her.

The pinkette sensed a lone chakra which was low which meant the person was either injured, weak or unconscious so she went in the direction of the lone chakra.

Then she sensed another chakra of a wild animal who was roaring loudly. Hearing its voice she sensed that the surrounding chakra's disappeared quickly.

When Sakura arrived at the destination, she saw a huge bear trying to hunt a female.

Taking a closer look, she noticed the female with flaming red hair and red eyes who had an earth scroll in her hand.

"Guess my luck's bad," She said as she leapt towards the bear who was moving toward the red-haired female who had tripped and fallen on the ground.

"Well since I've arrived might as well help her." She took out a few shurikens as she pierced the bear's eyes with it.

Then she kicked him hard with chakra infused in the soles of her shoes and killed the bear.

Karin knew that she was useless.

The only reason her two 'teammates' kept her in the team was because of her chakra-sensing skills and her healing body.

That's why as soon as the bears approached the whole team, the two males fled away from the scene leaving Karin alone.

She backed away from the trunk of a huge tree as she screamed for help.

"Someone! Please help me!"

Her trembling form took a chance to run away from the trunk of the tree only to trip and fall on the ground.

Her glasses fell from her face when she collided with the harsh ground but she kept her firm grip on the earth scroll in her hands.

She kept her eyes closed as she thought.

'Is this how I die?'

Karin waited for the bear to pounce on her but all she heard was the pained screech of the animal who was hunting her a few seconds ago.

She opened her eyes as she glanced at the blurry figure on the bear, it seemed the person had subdued the bear and saved her.

The red-haired female quickly reached for her glasses as she put them on. Her blurry vision disappeared and she saw the clear face of the person who saved her.

A beautiful pink-haired female with green eyes looked at her as she stood on top of the bear victoriously.

"Are you alright?"

The female's soft voice which reached her ears broke her away from her stupor.

"Y-Yes," Karin looked down as she stuttered.

She looked up to see the female who was previously on top of the bear standing in front of her with her hand raised towards her.

Seeing the encouraging look on the pinkette's face she reached to grasp onto the hand who helped her during the time she was alone.

Even her own teammates left her alone yet a stranger helped her when this person had no responsibility to do so.

"Here," Karin placed the earth scroll in front of the pinkette who was her saviour.

"T-Take this since you helped m-me," She nervously stood in front of the green-eyed female who glanced at her.

"Thank you but," The pinkette looked at the red-eyed girl, "I don't need it."

"O-Oh," Karin whispered gloomily.

"Since you are alright, I'll be going." She made a move to walk off but was stopped by a voice which called her.

"Wait!"

"What is it?" The pinkette looked back.

Karin bit her lips as she looked at her saviour.

"My teammates have a heaven scroll and they are in the north, approximately one and a half kilometres away from here." She informed her.

"Is that so?" The pinkette rubbed her chin, "Very well."

"What is your name?"

"It's Karin. . . Karin Uzumaki," The red-haired female answered truthfully.

"You are an Uzumaki?" The pinkette asked and watched the other female nod.

"My name is Sakura. . ." The person continued.

"Sakura. . . ?" Karin muttered in a daze.

"Sakura Uzumaki,"

Hearing Sakura having the same surname as her, she looked shocked.

When she saw Sakura Uzumaki walking away she stepped forward and yelled, "You better remember my name Sakura-san!"

"Because -" Her voice reached the green-eyed female who glanced at her.

"One day, I'll help you just like you helped me today - !" She swore.

Sakura smirked as she looked at Karin.

"I'll be waiting then,"

Sakura disappeared from Karin's sight as the red-haired female clenched her fist tightly as a red hue appeared on her face.

"Because you are my saviour."

― Yes, Sakura replaced Sasuke's position.

― Sakura only wants to hide her identity from the people of Konoha but revealing it to someone who's not from the same village will not affect her.
