The pinkette stopped at the door when she heard her name being called, she turned around to face Nagato who looked solemn.
"Remember,"
Emerald eyes stared into lavender-ringed ones.
"The past is like an ocean, it may be filled with beauty but staying there will only cause you to drown."
A few seconds passed before Sakura nodded her head: "I understand."
She couldn't help but remember the conversation between her and her uncle, but there was no going back.
She opened the door and everything went black. Her eyes opened and she was in a blank space, Sakura realised she was in her mind.
The pinkette moved forward in the empty space until she found a door. Finding nothing else around her, her feet led her to the door and she opened it.
In a flash, she felt something had changed and her eyes opened to see the emptiness wrapped in light. Scenes flashed around until they stopped at one point.
Sakura gazed with a blank look at the scene playing in front of her.
There she sat alongside her mother and father before everything crashed.
Her father was smiling at her mother who was giggling with a blush on her face. The younger her was laughing as well, her eyes so happy that it made her numb.
'Was I really like this before?' Sakura thought.
Then the younger her glanced at her and then the scene changed.
It was the same table where they sat except the people had changed.
Instead of her mother and her younger self, there sat her stepmother and her step-sister.
