On the balcony
Macau leans over the railing and is looking down, chay comes and places his hand on cau's shoulder
Porchay: Macau......
Macau: I thought (takes a deep breath) I thought we became close, I thought we were best friends.But, I guess it was all in my head.
Porchay:(calls very softly) Cau.... We are close, I know that it's been just a few months since I got to know you but still I can proudly call you my best friend. When I felt lost, I found you when kim betrayed me, you helped me get over him and I can't even define in words how lucky I feel being your friend.
Macau: Then why are you leaving, don't get me wrong I am very happy that you are trying to achieve your dreams, I am not against you going.. it's just.......
Porchay: Cau, I am here to listen so tell me please.
Macau: It's just that you never told me, I thought we shared everything, I just feel a little betrayed. You know you're just leaving me. I feel like I'll be all alone again
Porchay: I am sorry, cau that I didn't tell you. Honestly I have no excuse, I just didn't know whether this would become real so I chose to not say before it got official. But you ARE my best friend and I really cherish you in my life cau, even though I am going I will never leave you, no matter what cau. We are not just friends now, we are family now.(porchay hugged macau)
Macau: So how did dearest cousin take your news going abroad (referring to kim)
Porchay: I don't think he knows, I mean I told you guys today only.
Macau:(Sarcastically) Yeah right.. like he needs somebody to tell him, he has his own ways to know what's going on in our family.
Porchay: Yeah well that you are right.. maybe now he'll know, but honestly I don't care. And also why will he care, it's not his business what I do or not do
Macau: Yeah right though you told me that he came to you and was concerned that you didn't give your interview.
Porchay: I never said he was concerned all I said was that he was pissed.
Macau: Well it's the same thing only, he cared that is why he came to you
Porchay: He did care, but not about me rather his own time and effort going to waste.
Macau: Only he can tell....
Porchay: Whatever, I don't give a shit about him. To hell with him, let's talk about something else.
Macau: Ok... So are you excited going to the USA
Porchay: Well I am excited but also a little worried or you could say sceptical.
Macau: Why?
Porchay: You know it is not easy to leave everything you know and go to a new country to start afresh. It is a little scary man
Macau: Yeah... You are right, truly hats off to you for taking such a step
Porchay: Thanks man..... Oh by the way I am thinking of asking pkinn if he could arrange proper physical training with self defence and proper use of guns as well as different weapons in the US for me.
Macau:(laughing sarcastically) Why thinking of killing your man.
Porchay: Correction Ex. And no not thinking of killing him... Although tempting but no. Just for self defence, we live in a fucked up family and I don't want anyone to use me as a bait to get to my family, I want to add in their strength not become a weakness that they have to always protect. It was scary to get kidnapped and it scarred me a little and I don't want to go through that again. It made me feel weak and fragile. A good for nothing who can't even protect himself.
Macau: In simple words you don't want to be a damsel in distress anymore, rather wanna be a hero.
Porchay: I guess... (Both laughing a little)
Macau: Will your brother allow it.
Porchay: Yeah.... Not planning to tell him It will be mine and pkinn's secret.
Macau: As if...
Porchay: What do you mean.
Macau: All my brothers are horny asses who can't keep anything from their partners.
Porchay: True, but this is some serious matter, maybe he won't tell him or at least help me convince my brother.
Macau: Well good luck to you... Brother (chay gives a sweet smile to macau)
(Both of them lean on the balcony and look at the stars in comfortable silence with a slight smile on their faces, Both engrossed in their own thoughts about what the future holds for them).
