Their parents ship the both off to boarding school. Fighting the challenge of being a teenager, making friends, getting good grades, and making themselves happy.
They hate eachother. Or so they thought..
I haven't spoken to Ellie since the party where i got high. I don't really want to. But she keeps calling and messaging, i have no choice.
We sit in an empty classroom in an awkward silence.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" She glares.
"I've just been busy."
"You can't be mad about the party. You agreed to come."
"Did i?"

"Come to this party with me please?" Ellie begs as i lay in bed with freshly washed hair and clean sheets and pajamas.
"I don't think Cody would like that."
"He loves me, it will be fine."
"I don't feel like it anyway."
"Please, stop being such a baby."

"Cody has already gotten mad at me about this so just like, stop being mad as well."
He got mad at her?
"I've fucked up once, forgive me." Ellie rolls her eyes.
"You've fucked up more than once, El, i've just let it slide."
"What did i do?"
"I mean you can be pretty rude and you've hurt my feelings a lot. You always use me for study notes and your plain mean."
Tears roll down her cheeks.
I'm sorry.
"Stop acting like the victim here, Allie. You know i thought Cody was fit and you got in the way of that and told him to leave me alone."
"I never did any of that."
"You know, i wasn't even really freinds with you. I just wanted Cody."
"I thought we were friends?" I whisper.
"We wernt. And we still arnt." She gets up and walks out the door.
I put my head in my hands sobbing. I can't make any friends and when i think someone is my friend they aren't.
I hate it here.
The bell rings and i wipe my tears going back to the dorm. I can't face school today.
I walk in where Cody's jacket is slung over the couch a packet of chips on the counter but he isn't here.
I groan and pack up the chips and throw his jacket in his room.
"Your driving me mad Cody!" I snap as he walks in the door.
"What?"
"You leave your shit everywhere, you don't close the toilet lid, your rude and mean, your not nice, you scare everyone single boy away, you never let me go anywhere."
"Allie, let's talk about this come on, calm down." He says softly walking towards me.
Tears stream down my cheeks.
"I'm not fucking calm. Your not the boss of me Cody, i can date whoever and i can go wherever and wear whatever the fuck i want without you following me around like you have no where better to be."
"Go then." He grumbles.
"What?"
"If you hate me so much, you want to leave so fucking bad. Go."
I can't even respond. I'm too worked up.
I turn around and walk into my bedroom slamming the door behind me making the walks shake.
I crawl into bed sobbing. I didn't mean what i said.
I'm angry and hurt. Cody didn't deserve that.
I hear the door open to the main room and it closing.
He left. He actually left.
I hope he comes back.

I run my hands through my damp hair as i sob in bed. This is all my fault.
It's been fifteen minutes since Cody left. I can't stop crying.
"Allie, open up." I hear Cody knock on my door softly.
I get out of bed wiping my nose and open my door and see Cody unpacking boxes of Chinese food on the coffee table. My favourite.
I let out a small sigh. I'm such a bitch. He didn't deserve anything i said.
"Come eat." He quickly looks at me before turning on the tv and flicking off the lights.
We sit next to eachother on the couch. Our shoulders brushing.
We eat noodles out the box as we watch 'Dirty Dancing'
I turn to look up at him as he looks content like i didn't even attack him.
"I'm sorry about earlier."
He snaps his head to me but i talk again before he can.
"I was just having a fucking shit day and i took it out on you which wasn't fair at all. I didn't mean what i said. Besides the toilet part. You do need to learn how to close the toilet seat."
A small smile stretches his lips.
"Don't worry about it. I figured you were, i ran into Ellie earlier and she was a fucking mess man. And, i'll work on the toilet thing."
"Thanks."
"What happened with you two?"
I begin to explain the entire situation that went down earlier today.
"What. The. Fuck."
"Mhm."
"Are you okay?"
I shrug.
"I thought we were friends but i guess not."
"You'll make some friends."
"I'm going to try my best. And plus, i need another girl in the group now. It's only us and Brodie with the occasional Harry."
"Did i tell you they are dating now?"
"No, the fuck?"
"Yeah."
"That's amazing."
"Mhm." He smiles.
