Chapter 25: Popcorn

*CODY'S POV*

"Hello loosers." Brodie sings as him, Harry, Flora and a.. new girl enters?

"Hi." Allie smiles as she's sitting on the couch.

"Hey Cod." Brodie smiles coming into the kitchen where i make popcorn for our movie night.

"Cody, hurry up with the popcorn. I'm hungry." Allie calls.

"I just fed you."

Everyone snaps their head to me furrowing their brows.

"No, i made her soup."

"Right..." Harry giggles. He's not much of a talker but he's nice.

I finish the popcorn and walk over to everyone as they are snuggled up under blankets.

Allie and Flora sit next to eachother.

"Sorry." I mutter pushing their legs apart wiggling myself between them. Allie leans into me cuddling my arm.

I look at the new girl as she's cuddled up with Flora. She looks so familiar.

"Do i know you from somewhere?" I look at her with furrowed brows as Allie picks the movie.

"I don't know. You look familiar to me too."

"I'm Cody." I introduce.

"Jenny."

"Wait a minute..." I tilt my head. Everyone is now looking at us confusion written all over their faces.

"Aren't you the guy that gave me free food?"

"Yes that's it." I exclaim.

"Explain for us poor hungry people." Allie rumbles beside me.

I grab the popcorn off the coffee table handing it to her which makes her giggle of happiness.

"She was short one money at a restaurant so i paid."

"That's nice of you." Allie's hand wraps around the back of my neck rubbing it.

Perfect girl.

I smile laying my head on her lap.

"Okay let's start this movie." Brodie claps.

Allie clicks play on 'Footloose.'

She loves old school movies. I don't blame her. They are amazing.

We all watch the tv cuddled up with our partners. I hear Allie and Flora as they begin whispering.

I place my hand over Allie's mouth. She lets out a groan.

"Shh. I'm watching." I whisper.

She licks the inside of my hand.

Think that will work to make me take my hand off? Nice try sweetheart.

I slowly take my hand off putting it back on her knee near my head. She slowly plays with my hair as we watch the movie.

I wake up, my head still on Allie's lap. Her head is tucked into my neck as she leans over. Her back and neck will be sore.

I don't even know what time i fell asleep. I look around and see everyone else also fast asleep with their partners. I smile as i look at them.

I slowly lift myself up, Allie not waking. I stand up and lay her back down softly, adjusting the blanket over her little body.

I kiss her forehead wiping the hair off her face.

She's so gorgeous, it's unfair. Like why do i have to be the uglier one in the relationship.

I stand in the kitchen coffee in the hand as i look at all my friends.

Allie slowly shuffled and opens her eyes.

"Cody?" She sits up rubbing her eyes.

"I'm here, sweetheart."

She looks at me and smiles wondering over to me. I lift her up into the kitchen counter kissing her softly.

"Goodmorning idiot." She smiles.

"Good morning, princess." I kiss her forehead lightly.

I think this school wasn't so bad after all.
