Mayuri's POV
Walking towards the Prince's chamber with a glass of milk in my hand and girls giggling behind me making me blush.
"Princess Mayuri, now go and enjoy your wedding night" winking towards me, Sudha said.
Other girls started laughing making me like a red tomato.
They left me there and I took a deep breath, signaling the guards to open the big door of our chamber.
I walked inside and saw the scene which I never dreamt of in my worst nightmare! I feel like dying!
No-No-No, he can't do this to me. I trust him, he can't...
"You are everything to me," he said.
Not having much appetite to see my husband saying these words to another woman. I ran out of there putting the glass on the side table.
Why? Just why God?

Author's POV
This is the story of Mayuri, the princess of Udaygarh, and Shushantnu, the Prince of Jaipur.
Mayuri is a soft-hearted and strong woman, a woman who has many dreams and does whatever she wants, who achieved many things and now there is only one thing she wants and prays for, her love! She saw him almost 8 years ago at his elder sister's wedding when she was 11 and he was 16, his first glimpse was enough to make her involved with him. She loved him more than herself. But when she saw that there was no love in him for her, no emotions for her, she got broken. She felt like her world, her trust in which her love was stable it got collapsed. But still, she never gives up, as she has faith in herself that one day he will also love her just like how she loves him.
Whereas if we talk about Shantanu, He is a man of his word, stubborn, tough, and possessive towards his things. He does not care about anyone, what they think about him or say behind his back. He has no emotions or love for anyone other than his mother, stepmother, and his step-brother. His life was always a difficult one, why he became like this? Well, that is a long story!
Their stories are different. The environment they grew up in is different. Will these two opposite people become one? Will Mayuri and Shantanu become Mayusha?
The story is not only about love, but this is the story of sacrifices, pain, dirty political games, betrayal, and a lot more!
