48~ The Realisation

Mayuri's POV

I took both the babies in my arms and quickly ran out of the hut. It was situated near the dense forest. It was already raining. I have to hide somewhere! I couldn't risk my babies life. I have no option but to move inside the forest.

My lower abdomen was already paining, It was becoming difficult for me to walk, but I still managed and quickly moved towards the forest. I entered in it, my heart beats were racing. It was so dark that I couldn't even see properly. A pool of tears formed in my eyes.

Please God help me!

I firmed my grip on both of the childs and tightly embraced them. I moved inside the forest, it's been an hour since I'm walking but it felt like it will never end! I got so tired, suddenly I got slipped because of the mud but fortunately I fell on my back. Both the babies started crying. They must be hungry. There was a huge tree near us. I stood up carefully and moved towards it. I sat under the tree. It was so dense that not even a single droplet fell on us. But we were already drenched in water. I'm scared that they might catch cold.

I opened my blouse and started feeding them. They both were trying to suck on my nipples. I hid them with my dupatta. The boy started crying because he don't know how to suck onto the nipple. I helped him to suck on it by putting his small mouth on my nipple. He took it and gradually started sucking on it. For a minute I got awestruck, looking at them. He has the same mole under his lips like his father's.

Suddenly I heard someone's footsteps. Not actually footsteps of a human, but... An animal?
I got scared to death. Not because for me but because of my children. My heart sank deeply when I heard the steps more and more closer to me. I closed my eyes tightly and clutched on my skirt.

"Bhabhi-sa" I heard Prince Ridhan's voice.

"Mayuri!" Isha?! I quickly opened my eyes and looked at both of them. They were sitting on the brown horse. Isha was in front and behind her was Prince Ridhan.

She tried to get down but Prince Ridhan held the ropes tightly. She glared at him. He ignored her and got down from the horse.

It was amazing to see Isha riding on the horse. As she was always afraid of them.

"Hey! Get me down!" She ordered him.

"Why? Don't you know how to? Seems like someone is asking for help." Prince Ridhan asked her sarcastically. She looked at other direction ignoring him, but I know how much scared she was.

Prince Ridhan looked at me. I pleased him with the help of my eyes. He nodded and pulled her wrist making her fell on him. He quickly held her waist and made her stand on the ground. She pushed him lightly and ran towards.

She hugged me quickly and I hugged her too. I cried in her arms. She patted my back. After a while, she broke the hug and wiped my tears.

"Are you okay?" She asked me and I nodded lightly. Suddenly the baby started crying.

"Uaaaaaaa!" Isha and Prince Ridhan looked at me with shocked expression. I nodded and pulled my blouse down. I removed my duptta showing them both of my children.

Isha quickly took the baby boy in her hand and Prince Ridhan came closer. He sat down on his knees taking baby girl in his hand. Isha is always fond of children.

"She is so small Isha, look!" He said admiring the new born.

"Yes" Isha smiled. Her eyes become teary. Suddenly the baby girl sneezed. Isha giggled looking at her but Prince Ridhan got tensed. Looking at them I remembered my Prince, if everything was fine we were also playing with our children like them.

"Look how cute she is" Isha said.

"Oh my god! She might catch cold! We have to take them to the kingdom as soon as possible!" Prince Ridhan said and Isha nodded. They both quickly stood up. Isha helped me in standing up too.

They both moved towards horse. But I was quietly standing there.

"What happened Mayuri? Come! We have no time! Or they will find us!" Isha said and I shook my head.

"You guys go! And please take care of my babies" I cried. Isha came near me and put her hand on my shoulder.

"What are you saying Mayuri! We are not going without you!" Isha said and held my wrist.

"No please. The court and it's people had already insulted me enough. My husband is no more, what will I do going there again, I don't want to go." I said and removed her hand from my wrist.

"What are you saying Bhabhi-sa? He is waiting for you." Prince Ridhan interrupted in between.

"Who?" I asked.

"Your husband, your Prince, Your love," Isha answered. I felt like breathing again.

"Rea- Really?!" I asked and she nodded. I palmed my face and started crying.

Thank you God! Thank you so much!

"He needs you Mayuri, he is not okay." Isha said and I looked at her.

"What do you mean he is not okay? His second wife must be talking care of him," I said with utter hateness in my heart.

"No he is not. That was all misunderstanding bhabhi-sa. It was all the plan of that bastard Madhav" Prince Ridhan said. He explained me all the things which happened in last nine months. Even I have never imagined that Prince will do such act for me.

"But that Madhav back stabbed him with the sword!" Anger rushed in my veins. How dare he!

"The sword contains a poison on it, Though the doctors have saved him and he is fine now physically. But mentally he is distressed with all the things happened to him. The guilt is eating him up! The guilt for not being with you, the guilt for trusting and loving his brother, the guilt for making his step mother widow, the guilt of ruining the relationship of yours with your family, the guilt for not saving his step sister Nayan. He is depressed! And that bastard Madhav is ruling the kingdom! He is cruel to the people of the kingdom, There is no justice left bhabhi-sa!" I felt numb. The suffering which he has been going through since nine months must be really difficult for him. All the time I thought he never loved me, he only loved his brother his family and that's all it mattered to him. But I was wrong, totally wrong.

"Please save him bhabhi-sa, save your husband, save your Kingdom!"

"The King needs his Queen! The Kingdom wants his Queen! To rule it! To bring his King back!"

I know the update is late and I'm really sorry about it. But last week was kind of difficult and depressing for me. Well ups and downs goes on each one's life. So yeah.
