4~ The wait is over

Mayuri's POV

I opened my eyes as the rays of sun falling on my face, I sat and stretched my arms, smiling a little but this smile was no longer as I realised what was happening in empire from the past two days. How all the people and especially my parents were upset because of the alliance. Seeing them like this i cannot be happy, my parents are important more than anything.

"Rajkumari Mayuri" i smiled listening to her voice and turned back to look at her.

"Sudha!" i hugged her tightly.

"Mayuri" she smiled and hugged me back.

"Finally you came back from your village, I was seriously missing you, how are you?!" I asked as it's been a long time since I met her.

"I'm good Mayuri, but how are you?" she asked being a little upset.

I understand why she was upset.

"I'm ok sudha but my parents they are not fine, how can I be happy if they are not. I think I'm the most unluckiest girl in the world as her parents are not happy in their own daughter's wedding." I said in a broken voice with tears in my eyes.

"No Mayuri don't say like that, you know they love you a lot and they just can't risk your life also you know the other reasons too" she said.

"Yes i do know the other reasons, but what can I do? Love has no boundaries and you know I like Rajkumar Shushantnu." I said being emotional.

"I do know Mayuri, and i can understand your situation, it's worst" she said with sympathy.

"Worst? Worst is a small word, my situation is like whether should I be happy being married to my love or should I be sad as I have to leave my parents in their sorrow, in regret for which mistake they had not even done." I broked out very badly.

"Don't cry Mayuri please" she said patting my back.

"I don't want to leave my pare-" i was about to say but their was a sudden knock on the door.

"Come in" i said wiping my tears quickly.

"Pranam rajkumari, today groom's family will arrive,so you are asked to get ready" attendee told.

"Okay" i said and she left from there.

"Mayuri i think you should take a bath first and then i will help you to get ready" sudha said.

I hummed and moved to the bathing area.

The fresh smell of sandalwood and rose relaxed me a bit. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. After that i changed into white bathing clothes. I put my foot in hot water pool, and sat in it. It felt so relaxing, i just want to sleep now forgetting all the problems. Female Attendees started massaging me and also applying paste on my arms and legs. One of the attendees started massaging my head and it felt so good, she applied some oils and shampoo in my long hairs. And then washed it.

I don't know when I slept and then one of the attendee waked me up, it felt a little embarrassing, the attendee suddenly asked me in a tensed voice,"Princess, if you don't mind, are you ok?"

"Yeah. I'm totally fine" i smiled a little making them relax but i know what is going inside me.

After that i dried myself with a dry soft cloth. And wore a beautiful pink and orange lehanga with heavy embroidery. The designs were so beautifully made,the blouse was a little revealing as it is deep neck and had three strings behind, but i was able to hide my cleavage a little bit because of the pallu.

I got out of the dressing room,sudha looked at me and smiled. I started walking towards her.

Suddenly the door opened and my one of the cousins ran up too me, i was so shocked seeing them here.
