50~ A Curse

Mayuri's POV

I opened my eyes slowly and looked at my mother beside me, crying miserably.

"Maasa..." I whispered.

"Mayuri, my child!" She said and cupped my cheeks.

"My daughter!" Babasa came near me.

"I'm sorry Mayuri! I'm really sorry... I should not do that" He said while crying. I moved my face to other direction. My head was already paining badly, I really don't want to talk to anyone right now.

"Mayuri, please. Forgive me." He said.

"Please leave me alone" I requested.

"Babasa, we should give her sometime" Mayur bhaisa said.

"No, I don't want to" Babasa said. But bhaisa insisted him. Everyone started leaving but Maasa was quietly sobbing while looking at me.

"Come" Babasa put his hand on her should. She shook her head.

"I will not leave her" She said and removed his hand. Tears were continuously flowing from my eyes too but my heart was not ready to accept their apologise.

I closed my eyes and suddenly I remembered my babies!

"Where are they?!" I quickly sat on the bed.

"Who Mayuri?" Maasa asked in confusion.

"My- my children where are they?!" I asked. Tensed lines formed on my forehead.

"Children?" She scrunched her eyebrows in confusion. My heart beats accelerate it's speed.

"They are with their father" Dhairvi came out nowhere. A wave of relief rushed in my heart.We all looked at her side.

But Bhaisa held her wrist and looked at her in anger.

"What are they doing with him huh?" He asked with his anguish tone. She gulped and answered.

"They are with their father. Safe and happy." She said.

"Do you think that a person can stay happy and safe with that man?!" He gritted his teeths and firms his grip on her wrist.

"Mayur! Is that a way to behave with a woman?!" Maasa shouted on him from behind. Princess eyes also became teary with the behavior of his, but the eye contact between them was firm.

"I trusted you" Bhaisa left her wrist and moved out of the chamber while uttering bitter words.

"I can't leave my nephew and niece with that bastard, he doesn't deserve them" He said and moved out of chamber.

"Aah-" I tried to stood up but miserably fell on bed.

"Mayuri" Maasa touched my arms.

"Please rest" Baba-sa said.

But suddenly we heard a voice full of rage! Making me shiver down my spine.

"Mayuriiii!" We all looked at the direction. I saw my mother in law standing near the door.

She was looking so miserable, her eyes were red because of crying. Her face was pale and her body was fragile if haven't eaten anything from days.

"Maasa" I whispered.

She was coming closer to me. I gulped and stood up with the help of Maasa.

"Are-" I was about to speak but she stopped me by showing her palm.

"You killed my husband, you took my son away from me... My- My Madhav, my son, you took him away from me! Why did you do this! Whyyy!" She screamed in anger and held my arms tightly.

"Maasa I didn't-" I started sobbing.

"What are you doing biyan-sa. Leave my daughter, she is already weak!" Maasa tried to stop her but she pushed her away. Fortunately Babasa held her at right time.

"Maasa!" I tried to move towards her, but a hard slap land on my face. I closed my eyes tightly.

"How dare you-" Babasa was about to slap her but Dharvi came in between.

"Please Maharaj! She is already in pain. She lost her husband and her son. She is not in her sense. I'm sorry for her behavior." Princess joined her hands before my father. He moved his head to other direction.

"Take her away from my eyes" Babasa said in anger. She nodded.

"Come Choti Rani sa" Dharvi held her hand softly. But she harshly removed her hand.

"Don't touch me!" She shouted on her.

"You, Daughter of King Udaybhan! I curse you!" My heart trembled listening to her.

"No please-" Maasa said in between but she didn't listen.

"I curse you that just like how I lost my son! Your son will also go far away from you! He will hate you from core of his heart! He will never call you mother! He will never accept you as his mother, You will never be able to listen from his mouth that a woman wants to listen from her child... A word with full of love and respect 'mother'...You took my son away from me your own son will disown you!" She said, and honestly her every word was enough to kill me thousands of times. I sat on the bed silently.

She turned around and was about to leave.

"I will never forgive you" I muttered. She stopped for a minute but decided to leave the chamber.

My mother was quietly standing there. The situation was so messed uup, I don't know what to do?! I really want to have some time alone.

"I want to stay alone" I said but she shook her head.

"Pleaseeeee!" I screamed in pain and irritation.

"I will not leave you alone." She hugged me tightly. I hugged her too.

"Maasa! What should I- I do! Why God is punishing me like this! Why it's all happening to me?! Whyyy I can't stay happy?! Whyy- " I cried very hard. I can't live without my children. I can't.

"Maa, my son will go away from me?" I asked and cried in her arms.

"No daughter. Trust the God. He will never do injustice to you." She said and patted my head.

I quickly broke the hug and stood up. I almost ran towards the chamber.

"Mayuri! Where are you going?!" All followed me from behind.

I entered in our chamber and our eyes met. He was standing there. Both the children were in his arms. But my brother was holding his neck.

"Mayuri, what are-" Bhaisa was about to ask me but I interrupted in between.

"Leave him" I said and moved towards them.

I got closer to him and looked in his eyes. He also didn't break the eye contact.

"But-"

"I want to have a talk with him, Alone." I said.

Sorry for the late update guys.
