Mayuri's POV

'A wedding is the most special day of anyone's life. But for me, it's something that i had been dreaming it since childhood. The attire, the jewelleries, the makeup were making my look complete but i believe that happiness and confidence is the most prettiest thing you can wear on your wedding day. Getting married to the love of my life, starting a new chapter, leaving behind a host of memories, being the center of attention, endowed with new responsibilities, and a jittery excitement of what married life is making me feel different kinds of feelings. It can't be described in words.'

I write it in my secret diary and put the pen down. Feeling relaxed a little bit, whenever I have many things in my mind and can't share it with anyone, i simply wrote it.

"Mayuri let's go, everyone is waiting for you and especially prince" Isha said and giggled with other girls.

I blushed and nodded, putting my veil down, I moved out of the chamber.

*Time skip*

Walking slowly towards him, i felt everybody's eyes on me. It makes me feel anxious whenever people stare at me. I gulped and sat beside him.

Pandit ji started chanting mantras. He added some holy herbs in the scared fire which was about to tie us in the pure bond of marriage. Then he told us to stand-up for taking up the seven scared vows.

Saat Phere are seven vows taken collectively by the bride and the groom as they do the parikrama (moving around the sacred fire) around Agni Dev by taking him as a witness to their marriage.

My mother and father came and tied my dupatta tightly with a pink colour long cloth and put it on his shoulder, doing my kanyadaan (basically giving their daughter to the groom for life-time)

We stand-up and hold each other hand. Priest started saying vows. He explained each and every meaning of the vow to us.
