Sadly the fireworks finally died out and all that was left to light up the sky were the scattered stars. With the show being over, the Blue House tried to flip their boat back over and board it once again to get back to shore. But no matter how hard they tried, they just couldn't get everyone back into the boat without it flipping again. Between the glowing smiles on everyone's faces and the laughter that was floating through the team, it was obvious they were all just too excited to be able to completely get it all together. Y/N had even made a few of her teammates sob because of what she had said about remembering how to be happy because of them. Normally she might not have been as kind as she had been with them, accepting their soaking hugs and all, but she had meant what she told them. Sure, Agni had made her feel better after her incident with the Undertaker, and all her friends had greatly cheered her up, but she hadn't been quite happy. She had smiled, she had laughed, she had joked about with everyone as she normally would have, wearing her own skin and then James' like masks to cover up how hurt she still was. But when she was out on that field, and when she was falling into the river Thames with her team, she didn't feel hurt or upset. No, she had felt human. And it made her heart swell so much it shattered and caused her to cry.

Eventually more canoes were sent out to save the Blue Team and they were all rowed back to shore. Each and every one of them had been soaked to the bone, but that didn't by any means stop them from enjoying the party. They all toweled off as quickly as they could, not even bothering to change out of their wet jackets, before they joined their friends and family. This time people who weren't able to attend the June 3rd ball were able to dance and dine with the teams, which meant that the servants were scattered about the crowd. Y/N hated that she had to dance around them, but she stayed hidden behind other nobles and watched from a distance as her family had the time of their lives.

Students from Purple House had joined the band that was playing lively tunes for everyone to dance to. Meanwhile Red House boys twirled girls around and chatted with their parents, enjoying every social aspect of the event. And just like they had the night before, the Green House boys were dealing their damage to the food, starving from all the playing they had done today. At first, the boys of Blue House had felt a bit out of place, never having been the centers of attention for anything involving the Tournament. But eventually each and every one was whisked away by a friend or family member who wanted to dance with or brag about them. Ciel was stolen away by Lizzie who wanted to dance, much to the Earl's dismay. Y/N pretended to be speaking about a private matter with Sebastian as she watched Ciel try his best to avoid stepping on Lizzie's dress or toes. He was dancing with her while Soma was spinning Mey-Rin around, the maid wearing the biggest smile Y/N had ever seen on her face. And it looked like Old Man Tanaka had convinced the Marchioness Midford to dance with him, for old times sake it seemed. There were also numerous Bluewer sisters scattered noticeably around the dance floor as well.

One of the silver-haired girls had even come up to Y/N, asking for her to dance with one of the younger sisters, but sadly Y/N had to decline her offer. She couldn't chance being noticed by the servants on the dance floor, and she had noticed two other presences she would now have to bend over backwards to avoid. Yes, most to Y/N's utter dismay and disgust, Earl Grey had arrived. Thankfully, so had Earl Phipps and his chicken. The two were alumni of Weston and had therefore received invitations to the post-Tournament celebration. Y/N would've been a bit more stressed had it just been Earl Grey who attended, him being so short he was easily lost in such a large crowd. But thankfully, Phipps had decided to attend as well and acted as a large, white shadow that followed Grey around the event. And even if Y/N managed to miss Phipps' towering over the crowd, she couldn't miss the sound of his chicken's clucking. The bird was perched upon its master's head and seemed to do all the talking for him.

Even though Y/N was a little upset that she couldn't enjoy such a lovely evening completely carefree and with her family, she was able to spend it with a few of her Weston friends. She was taken around by McMillan who was possibly the most proud person in the world to have such an amazing friend like James. And Harcourt frequently sought the pair out, wanting to talk about the game and just looking for a bit of calm in the storm of a party. Edward even spoke to Y/N a great deal, though they mostly played an unofficial version of 21 Questions as he tried to place where he recognized her from. He would ask her about this and that, and she would answer every question infuriatingly vaguely. She was surprised that Edward didn't get mad, but instead seemed to be rather amused. He admitted that he was at fault for always being distracted by the angel that was his little sister, but he was determined to unmask James.
