___________________________________________Nightmare pulled the remaining arrows from his body.
He snarled. He leaned against his desk as his body tried to recover from those dreaded positive arrows.
He huffed.
He needed any form of negativity, anything!
He thought back to the others.
It was their fault this happened in the first place!
If they had followed the plan without messing up then this wouldn't have happened.Nightmare snarled.
He was angry, felt himself weak, he hated feeling weak..He pierced a tendril into his shelfs. The books fell to the floor.
He threw his chair onto the walls. He broke his mirror, he trashed his desk, he broke the windows.
All the commotion was heard from downstairs.
The group didn't dare go upstairs, all except Cross.Making his way towards Nightmare, he opened the door slightly.
Follow by screaming."GO AWAY YOU PEST."
Cross stepped in.
"Night..-"
A tendril pierced the wall beside him, missing by an inch. The smaller jumped."I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TOO LEAVE-"
Nightmare froze, seeing Cross at the door. Nearly shaking."Cross.."
He lowered his voice, retracting his tendril from the wall, giving Cross a sense of ease."Cross."
He beckoned the smaller over, who hesitated before he did.Now infront of Nightmare, the taller wasted no time in embracing the monochrome. Cross hugged back.
He hummed at his scent.
"Im sorry."Nightmare had to calm down. As pissed off as he was, he didn't want to harm Cross. Even if his Negativity was helping..
"I'm sorry button.."
He buried his face further into the smaller chest."It's okay, I'm alright."
Cross kissed his skull."I understand today hasn't gone as planned hun, I'm sorry."
Nightmare huffed.
"Those fucking idiots, can't do the simply things.""They don't do it on purpose Night. Dream's an emotion sensing god, and Ink is just stronger."
Cross said, caressing his skull in an attempt to soothe the taller.
He wasn't even going to bring up Blue into the fight. The taller sighed.
He wasn't going to admit the other was right, he still mad."We can stay like like for as long as you wish too My Lord."
With those words a tendril began caressing his jaw."I wouldn't mind that."
