Cross immediately backed into an empty alleyway. He ran until he hit a deadend.
'Shit!'
The alley was soon filled with cops as they ran in behind in.
"This is over Cross!"
Ink screamed, behind him were cops ready to fire on command.
Cross smirked.
"That's what you think."
"Hand yourself in, the gold along with it!"
Ink mentioned the gold Cross had stolen, which made the monochrome tighten his grip on the bag.
"You'll have to catch me first!"
Cross cackled as he was suddenly engulfed by a black substance.
They shot at it but their weapons seem to be of little affect.
The last thing Ink saw was a teal eyelight staring at him before it completely disappeared along with Cross.
Ink groaned.
"DAMMIT!"

Cross blinked as the black that eloped him faded away.
Nightmare stood infront of him. They were inside the meeting room of their hidden base.
Cross looked around to find his comrades waiting around the conference table. Seemingly awaiting his arrival.
"Did you get the gold?"
Nightmare asked, he furrowed his brow.
Cross threw the bag on the table, Dust being the one to open it and reveal the essence inside.
"Not bad for a solo misson."
Dust snickered.
Cross hummed in response. Leaning against the wall.
"It was easy. I swear security is lacking these days."
"Very well then. Nice job."
Nightmare praised before his attention turned to Killer and then the group.
"You and Dust go put that away. Horror, Fell hurry up on that task I sent you. You're dismissed, we'll catch up with Error and Reaper later."
"Yes Boss."
Everyone gave a nod and left the room. Leaving Nightmare alone with Cross.
"You are honestly reckless."
Cross blinked as Nightmare spoke.
"How so?"
"You could have gotten caught you idiot!"
Nightmare was in his face now. He snarled.
"You can't depend on me to save you everytime!"
Cross smirked.
"Only reason i out myself in those situations is because I know my 'knight in shining armor' will come to help me."
He teased the other, watching as Nightmare narrowed his eye at him.
"Know your limits Cross.."
The monochrome didnt seem to care for his warning. Instead he pulled Nightmare in closer by his tie.
"I know my limits. But wheres the fun if you dont take the risk."
Nightmare hissed. Practically pinning Cross to the wall.
"I shouldve left you out there instead.."
Cross rolled his eyes, then an idea came up.
"Could I make it up to you then?"
He began leaving little pecks along the tallers' jawline. His intent made clear to Nightmare.
The taller hummed, intrigued.
He pulled the other closer.
"That depends.."
"You know i dont disappoint..~"

Blue paced back and forth, Dream and Ink watching him from their seats.
