"You're a horrible father," he started. Everyone stopped clapping and laughing, bracing themselves to do it once again when Finney stormed out of the room. "I've had my fair share of an abusive father, but you do not get to waltz into this wonderful family's home and pretend like you've done nothing wrong. How do you even call yourself a father?" he started, now standing up like Robin was before he left.

"And you certainly do not get to talk to my boyfriend like that. Instead of coming home every month, why can't you just be a decent person? Robin is an amazing boy, and I'm privileged to even know him. How dare you come in here and talk to him like that? And how fucking dare you come in here and act like you haven't caused this wonderful family so much trauma. Also, are you mad that Robin likes it up the ass? Because I'm certainly not, and that just makes you even more of a prick. I have no idea where I'm going with this or how to leave, But I hope you've finally realised how much of a bad person you are. Good day."

Finney carefully put his plate in the sink and went to Robin's room. The kitchen fell silent before the clapping and laughter started again. Maria certainly was not happy. "Molly, Sofia, go to your room. Boys, go to Robin's room. Gwen, go to Molly's room." the laughter immediately stopped and everyone scurried away.

When Finney got back after his speech, he saw Robin just standing emotionally in the middle of the room. He crept up behind him and wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing his neck softly. "Hey. You okay?"

Robin smiled weakly and put his hands on top of Finney's. "Fine," he replied. "Just can't believe I finally stood up to him. I mean, who does he think he is?"

Finney giggled against Robin's neck. "I'm proud of you. I love you a lot too." Robin spun round and still left his boyfriend's arms draped across his waist. He kissed him sweetly on the lips, snaking a hand on his cheek.

When Robin broke the kiss, he smirked. "Nice hoodie." he mentioned, looking at the Maple Leafs logo printed on the front and back at Finney's eyes. Finney flushed, burying his face in Robin's chest, hitting him on the shoulder lightly. Robin smiled brightly, playing with Finney's hair until he saw his friends standing at the painfully wide open door with Bruce taking pictures.

"This is so much better than watching gay couple tiktoks." Vance spoke up, walking into the room like it was his own house.

"Preach." Bruce said, following him.

"Gays rule!" Billy cheered, walking in and plopping himself down on the pillows, Griffin following him and doing the same. "So like, is your mom gonna give us a pep talk?"

"Probably," Robin said, walking to sit on his bed. Finney followed him, sitting next to him. "I mean, I don't get why she would need to. He's a total dick, what I said was nothing but facts." he continued until there was a knock at the door. He told them to come in, and it turned out to be Molly, Sofia and Gwen.

"Can we bunk in here?" Molly started. Robin looked at her like she was an idiot, because there was absolutely no space. "No, seriously. Can we?"

"Why?" Vance asked.

"Pete 'n Maria are talking in their bedroom and it's so fucking loud I cannot stand it anymore. Bruce, move your ass." Gwen sassed. She kicked Bruce in the shin, making him shuffle to allow space. Molly squeezed herself beside Gwen and Sofia sat on Molly's lap.

Finney sighed quietly and  went on his phone while a conversation brewed in the room. Robin stopped talking about whatever he was talking about and looked at Finney. He cocked a brow in confusion. "You okay?" Robin whispered into his ear while slinging an arm around his shoulders.

Finney flinched but soon relaxed. "'M fine. I just, y'know, want some alone time.." he trailed off. Robin smirked. "Stop looking at me like that. You know what I mean."

"A'ight! Everyone out!" Robin yelled. "I don't care where you go, just get the fuck out of my room!"

Griffin sighed, "Moan like you did last night and I'm never coming here again." he said, picking up his pillow and blanket and making his way to Molly's room. Everyone else soon followed after him.

"You didn't have to do that." Finney mentioned. Robin just smiled, leaning against the headboard and pulling Finney down with him. Finney pushed himself as close as he could be to Robin, practically being on top of him.

"What boyfriend wants, boyfriend gets." Robin huffed a gentle laugh and kissed his forehead. He started playing with Finney's hair, getting a bright smile in return. They sat like that for what felt like days, just enjoying each other's presence. That was until there was a knock at the door. Robin huffed an annoyed 'come in'.

It turned out to be Maria. "Hi, boys," she started, pulling Robin's desk chair out to sit on. "Is it alright if I talk to you?"

"Is it alright if I say no?" Robin replied. Finney sat up and shot him a glare. Robin sighed, "Fine. What is it."

"Pete and I have been talking, and we think it's time you two take some time apart," she started. Robin furrowed his brows and Finney parted his lips. Before either could speak, she started talking again. "You two have been attached by the hip ever since February, and it's now April, and we don't think it's good for either of you," while she was speaking, Pete made his way into the bedroom, standing next to Maria.

"Finney, we love you in this house and I'm sure you know that," Finney nodded. "You're always welcome here, but you both need a break. Seeing as school is tomorrow, the both of you need to distance yourself. Please." she finished.
