"I'm gonna get killed. He's actually gonna kill me." Robin paced around his room for the third time in a week.
"He's too Finney Blake for that." Vance was sat in Robin's desk chair for the third time in a week.
"It's the end of Robin Arellano! Tell my mom I love her. And tell Sofia her orange building blocks are strictly not brownies." Robin sat on his bed, head in his hands.
Vance sighed. He loved his best friend, but he was delusional as fuck. Robin overthought things way too often, and he always had to make it bad. "Just be straight up. Invite him over and tell him."
Robin didn't tell Finney his dad was coming to town, and now he was completely shitting himself over it. I mean, for anyone, it'd be fine to tell your boyfriend a relative was coming to town. But not when it was an abusive father.
Robin proceeded to tell Vance how it wasn't that easy, and he went on about that for 2 hours straight. Eventually, Vance convinced him to just stop being a fucking dumbass and tell him. Which was what Robin did.
- Finney Blake
I've found the one. It's him. And currently, I'm on my way to his house. With Gwen by my side. She's rambling about her 7th grade drama, something about Heather cheating on Kyle with Casey. I don't keep track at this point.
Initially, Gwen wasn't supposed to come. I was supposed to go to Robin's by myself and have a nice night with him, but Gwen wanted to hang out with Molly. "I'm not gonna lie, I feel bad for Casey. Heather is a bit of a bitch," she continued. I blocked it out a while ago. "Finney, man. That's fucking low, not even listening to your own sister?"
Here we go again. "I'm sorry! I can't keep up with your 7th grade drama." I shrieked.
Gwen smirked, "Yeah, cause you're too busy thinking about Robin. Robin this, Robin that, oh speak of the devil! There he is, waiting for you on his porch." she mimicked while opening the gate to Robin's house and running inside to say hi to Molly.
- 3rd person
"Hey," Finney said before pecking his boyfriend on the lips. "Why're you out here? It's almost dark." he continued, gesturing to the orange sky caused by the sunset. Robin looked down and sighed.
"I need to talk to you," Robin said. He grabbed both of his boyfriend's hands softly and ran his thumbs over his knuckles. "But you have to promise you won't get mad."
Finney tilted his head in concern, "I promise."
Robin took a sharp breath in, "My dad is coming into town," he started. "he's coming in like three days I think, so Tuesday. And I'm sorry I didn't tell you I was just caught up in the whole you meeting your dad in jail thing and my ma has been working late shifts so I had to take care of Sofia and-"
Finney cut him off with a sweet kiss on his lips. Robin perked his head up and looked down at the shorter boy, lips slightly agape. "It's okay," Finney whispered. He cupped his cheeks and smiled. "I'm here for you, alright? We'll get through this together. How long is he staying?"
"About a week."
Finney nodded. "We'll get through this," he repeated. "now how about we go inside and watch a movie?"
"Hm. That's funny, because I had other plans."
-
"OH MY GOD," Molly screamed, immediately covering her eyes at the sight in front of her. Said sight was Robin on top of Finney, both shirtless, with hickeys littered all over Finney's neck and chest. As soon as both boys heard Molly, Robin immediately jumped off of Finney and pulled the comforter up to reach both of their shoulders. "You know what? I'm homophobic. Get me baptised. I'm a child of God." she commented, still holding her hand over her eyes.
"You've had multiple girlfriends, miss 'gay is a sin'. You can look now, by the way." Robin shot back. Molly slowly lowered her hand before sighing with relief.
As if she was a delayed train, Gwen came rushing to the door. "What happened? I would've come quicker, but Joey moved out of his apartment with Chandler. It was so sad! I almost cri-" she cut herself off as soon as she saw the sight of both boys. "Oh, that's what happened. I want a baptism."
"Joey moved out of the apartment? Goddamn thanks for spoiling it for me." Finney said, trying to lighten up the mood. Gwen shook her head, basically saying it's not happening, he didn't lighten up the mood.
Robin raised his brows at the two girls in the doorway. "Get out?" he uttered. The girls started ushering themselves out, mumbling some 'right's and 'on our way's in the meantime. Robin sighed and shook his head, nonetheless smiling. "Now that they're gone, what do you want to do?" he asked Finney.
Finney shrugged, snuggling closer into Robin's side and running his index finger over his chest. "Can I sleep over?" he mumbled.
Robin grinned. "Of course you can, you don't even have to ask. Do you want a makeshift b-" he was completely cut off by his bedroom door bursting open. Bruce, Vance, Billy and Griffin stood in the doorway. Robin sighed and rolled his eyes.
"You did it! See? Wasn't so hard was it?" Vance said, chucking his pillow on the ground and leaning against it. Bruce done the same, leaning his head on Vance's shoulder. Billy and Griffin planned in advance, laying down a fluffy blanket and leaning against their pillows which was against Robin's closet, and also across from Vance and Bruce.
"I can't believe you four. You're honestly ridiculous. Who even let you in?" Robin said, tangling his hand in Finney's hair who was still running his index finger over Robin's chest.
"Maria did. She loves us more than you, she gave me twenty bucks for shutting up Sofia." Billy added, holding up the money. That's more than my weekly allowance, Robin thought.
Griffin's head perked up; he had a lightbulb. "Robin, Finney, get a room and let's play some Mario Kart."
"This literally is my room. You get a fucking room," Robin snapped back, pulling the comforter further up him and Finney. "but yeah, Mario Kart sounds good."
They ended up playing the full 48 games of Mario Kart before all of their hands hurt from the controllers. "I definitely won." Vance announced, feeling cocky about his 6 wins
"You won like, four times dude. I kept track, Bruce won. Stop being so cocky." Billy added. Vance rolled his eyes and threw a mallteaser at Billy's head. Billy thanked him and ate it happily.
"I'm gonna go get a drink." Finney said, sitting up. Robin braced himself for what his friends were going to say about the hickeys. As soon as Finney stood up from the bed, all eyes were on him. He ignored it and left the room, and once he did everyone looked at Robin.
"Are you a cannibal?" Vance started.
"Someone was fucking hungry." Billy added.
"Finney isn't a quesadilla, Robin." Bruce said, as a matter of factly.
"Love is gross." Griffin finished.
