i just wanted to come and say a big massive fat ass fucking thank you

thank you all so so much for the love and support in this book. it breaks my heart to finish it, i went through blood sweat and tears to write this and it feels unreal that it's finished.

i started writing it in january of this year (2023) because i was just a bored teenager needing something to do. so i thought why not start another wattpad book based off of my favourite basement boys.

when i first published this book i didn't think it would get any views. i thought it would be another lost book in the rays of others. but goddamn was i wrong. i honestly cant believe people like my writing, the only person i would hope liked my writing was my english teacher.

but apparently, since writing this book, i can see that so many other people like to read what i write. i've been such a fan of books and writing stories since i was young, and if you told me id have a book with over 10k views and so many people leaving comments, i woulda never believed you.

at first, i wasnt going to publish this book and i was gonna leave it in my drafts with my sea of unpublished books. but i did end up posting it, and im so so so glad i did.

the groupchat you see in the book was based on the many chatfics i have read and a groupchat i have with my own friends. you can thank me and my friends for being so incredibly hilarious

writing went from a hobby to a passion during the making of this. when i grow up, im 90% sure i want to write a real book with my own characters, and you'll be the first to know. i want to thank all of you in the comments for keeping me going to finish this.

not all good things last forever. i know one day ill look back at this and ask myself what the fuck was wrong with me, but ill know i had fun writing it.
