I dodged a few water balloons that my little cousins were throwing around at each other, in my attempt to find the very man that I was about to murder today. My grandma felt the need to hold me in what seemed like an eternity of catching up with each other, how my life in Seoul is and how come an angel like him decided to be with someone like me. Can they stop calling him an angel?

Don't get me wrong, my whole family loves me, well maybe except for my cousin Seonghwa who's a pain in the ass, but apart from him they all have good intentions. I know my grandma and her bluntness is something I'm very familiar with but I just couldn't deal with that today. I excused myself going on with my searching as I bumped into someone. I raised my head up facing the silver haired man.

Speak of the devil.

"Hey JiJi" Seonghwa met my eyes with a smirk on his face "I see you're still cosplaying a fire truck huh?" He patted my head ruffling my hair as I slapped him away.

"Screw you, lego man!" I spat back at him arranging my hair angrily as he clutched at his heart faking a painful grin. I started walking away but if you knew him even one bit like I do, you'll know that he's not going to leave me alone, not until one of us ends up crying or I beat the shit out of him.

"Ya, where did you find him?" He walked casually with me as I was trying to make my way inside. He stopped in front of the door, blocking the entrance.

"In a trash can alongside your future! Move!" I pushed him as he stumbled trying to steady himself holding onto the door as I walked away.
"Still unmannered, I see" He said following me inside.

"And you? Still a virgin?" I turned around crossing my hands on my chest as he scoffed turning around "I thought so too!" I yelled watching him walk away in shame muttering a "bitch" that only I could hear, proceeding with my search.

"Jia come help me with the cake dear!" My mother watched me from the kitchen as I was ready to go upstairs.
"Mom, have you seen Yunho?" I approached her taking a strawberry from the cake, popping it in my mouth as she slapped me away with a wooden spoon "Ouch, no need to be violent woman" I stroke my hand hissing in pain.

"This is your father's cake so you better keep your hands to yourself missy" She threw me the "you better not mess with my nerves right now" look and that was my cue to step aside "Yunho is probably upstairs using the bathroom, why?" She sprayed the cake with some gold edible glitter turning it around on all sides carefully.

"I haven't seen him since we arrived, I just want to make sure he's comfortable" I lied grinding my teeth as I turned my back to walk away
"He's a sweet guy Jia, grandma sure loves him a lot. I hope you do too"

I rolled my eyes and clenched my fists mustering my nicest voice possible.

"Yes mom, lots" And I walked away upstairs taking two stairs at a time "Wait until I get my hands on you, I'll show you love" I hissed under my breath as I opened the bathroom door. Empty.

Walking along the corridor I opened all the doors I had in sight but he was nowhere to be seen. I stopped in front of the last one I hadn't open so far touching the butterfly wooden carving slowly. My dad and I carved it when I was around the same age Yunho saw me for the first time. Its uneven edges were still stinging my fingers as the old blue paint faded over the years, it was beautifully ugly and I felt myself smiling at it. I turned the doorknob and entered in my old room, only to be met by the exact person I was looking for.

"Hey-" He turned around scratching the back of his neck shyly, holding one of my plushies in his other hand
"Can you fly?" I was piercing him with my eyes rolling the sleeves of my sweatshirt up to my elbows.

"Uhm, yeah but-"
"Good" I jumped running at him as his eyes widened and ran away from me "I'm going to throw you out the window, you asshole! Get over here!" I kept chasing after him in the entire room as he kept dodging me

He jumped on the bed grabbing a pillow quickly putting it if front of him in defense as he stood up on his feet in a corner "Jia wait" He pleaded amused
"You think it's funny do you? Wait until I get my hands on you!" I jumped on the bed grabbing the pillow he was holding so tight.

Despite his tall figure I still managed to smack him in the head as he stumbled on his feet falling on the floor, taking me with him. I was on top of him now with my legs spread around his torso smacking him with the same pillow he was so dearly holding seconds ago. "Boyfriend?" Smack "Boyfriend huh?" Another one "I'll show you what being my boyfriend means" And another one right in the face. We were an entangled mess. Me fuming, him on the other hand couldn't contain his laugh. That until the door opened and we faced it with wide open eyes as I smacked him one more time.

"Jia!" My mother stood in the doorway, her jaw wide open "I-uhm, the barbecue is ready my dear. You both should come downstairs" I saw her cheeks reddening as she turned around walking away.

We turned our faces to one another as we locked eyes. Now, in this position, I realized the gravity of my actions. His gentle eyes were lingering on me as a subtle pink was glistening his cheeks, his chest moving up and down in rushed breaths. Why does he have to be so...perfect? Well, I shouldn't be ashamed for checking him out, as this is his fault after all, but boy was I embarrassed now that I felt the heat creeping its way up my face too. I stood up straightening myself, dusting the nonexistent dust off of me as I cleared my throat.

"We'll talk about this later!" I pointed at his chest walking away as he followed me lazily, a chuckle escaping his mouth.
