We arrived home late in the evening after we decided to spend the day at the arcades, Seonghwa behaving himself surprisingly well for the rest of the day. Too well actually, which I found really suspicious, and I was about to find out why.

"WHAT?" I yelled out loud, the whole room flinching at my high pitched scream "No! Never! Not even in a million years! Not even if God himself decided to come here right now and tell me so!" I was walking back and forth in the living room, pulling my hair out.

"Actually-" Yunho raised his index finger in an attempt to say something
"You shut it!" I growled back at him as he made himself small in his seat on the couch, his lips pressed shut in a thin line "Tell me you're joking mom! It's a prank right? I'm on hidden camera right?" I laughed out loud hysterically.

"Come on honey, just for a few days until he finds himself a place to stay at" My mom pleaded as I shook my head furiously.
"Mom, do you realize what you're asking me? You want me to open my door for the devil!" I hissed back at her stomping my feet on the floor.

That snake was dead silent on the couch, looking up at me through his lashes, smirking. Why is it my problem that he suddenly decided to move in Seoul as well, but had no place to stay at? He can sleep on the streets for what I care.

"Jia, you'll take him with you for a few days. Aunty said maximum one week until they receive a loan from the bank for the deposit of a new apartment" I wanted to say something but she put her hand out in front of me "You'll allow him to stay with you. End of discussion. I don't want to hear another word, at least you can do the bare minimum and understand the situation. He's your family after all and we did not raised you to be disrespectful towards family" She walked away leaving me speechless.

"I hate you!" I yelled at him speed walking out of the room, up the stairs to my own, shutting the door with a loud thud "That-that cockroach!" I started kicking the closet with my foot "That snake. Ugh!" I growled out loud not noticing the door opening as Yunho entered inside as well. I grabbed a pillow from the bead screaming in it, stomping my feet on the floor. When I raised my head back tossing the pillow away, resting my hands on my hips, I noticed the amused look on his face.

"It's not funny Yuhno!" I scoffed removing a few strands of hair out of my face
"It is a bit funny actually" He approached me carefully

"How will we find your wings now? And should I remind you that because of you we are supposed to be in a relationship? And that you also stay at my place? And that I'm so broke I can't even afford a two bedrooms apartment so you'll have to sleep with me while he sleeps in the living room and-" I was rambling, breathing in and out faster and faster, feeling a dizziness consume me.

"Calm down ok? Just breathe" He pushed my shoulders gently for me to meet the edge of the bed and sit down.
"Why did you even do that? Why did you say you are my boyfriend?" I whispered looking down at my lap

"It seemed-more plausible than me being your coworker" He shrugged his shoulders "And, I know your parents want you to find someone in your life. Someone to make you happy and make you feel loved" He said slowly.
"But this is not real Yunho. It's all an illusion you created" I muttered under my breath as he stayed silent.

It's true that I want someone in my life, someone to love me just the way my dad loves my mom. I craved that same love ever since I had my first and last boyfriend. That idiot played with my heart for two entire years, making me believe that I'm the only one he saw, when in fact he was a fucking cheater that broke my heart into pieces. I promised myself at that time that I'll never chase love again, and allow love to find me, but this? This is not real.

I went to sleep with a pained heart and a sad smile on my face looking at the blonde haired next to me.

When I opened my eyes in the morning, the bed was empty. I stood up fast wiping my eyes, scanning the room in the bright sunlight. He was nowhere to be seen. I stepped out of the room knocking on the bathroom door but I received no answer in return. For a reason or another my heart was rushing in my chest as I ran down the stairs taking two at at time, hopeful to find him in the kitchen.

"Yunho!" I opened the door breathing faster "Mom, have you seen Yunho?" I asked her as soon as I noticed she was the only one in the room.
"He's outside with grandma watering the flowers, why?" She looked at me concerned.

I rested my back in the doorway running my hands over my face, sighing in relief. Why was I scared that he left after what I said last night?

"Jia honey, is everything ok between the two of you?" My mother could always sense when I'm not ok. Always. That's why it was and still is too hard for me to lie her. I turned my head to face her mustering a weak smile.

"Yes mom. Everything is ok" I tried reassuring her as I walked out of the room. With the corner of my eyes I peaked outside on the back yard. He was there just like my mother said, giggling with my grandmother while she was explaining him the meaning behind each flower. A pained smile tugged at my lips as I made my way back to my room.

I need more sleep.

The knock on the door interrupted my deep slumber.

"Jia" I heard his fade voice "Can I come in?"
"Yes" I stood up just a bit resting my back on the bed frame. He entered holding his hands behind his back, smiling at me swinging back and forth on his feet, his deep gaze creeping the hell out of me "Is there something on my face?" I raised my eyebrows.

"I picked these for you" He revealed the hyacinths bouquet he was so desperately hiding behind his back "Well, your grandma forced me basically. She said boys these days are not gifting flowers anymore like they used to back in her days, and with that I actually have to agree" He came closer placing it in my lap as I took it in my hands.

"Thank you" I smelled the intoxicating perfume of the flowers "Hyacinths are my favorites" I looked into his eyes smiling.
"So I've been told. Listen, Jia..." He stroked his hands together "I thought about what you said last night, and I think you are right. What I did was wrong, lying to your family like this, and forcing you to lie on my behalf. I want to apologize for that" His voice was quiet and slow, yet his words were genuine. I felt that.

"It's ok-I-I'll come up with a final lie once you're gone and they'll get over it" A shaky breath left my mouth "And so will I" I looked down at the beautiful flowers and I realized, I'll keep them for eternity.

"Jia" He cleared his voice after a moment of silence "I know I'm a fake boyfriend and everything, but your grandma said I should take you on a date, because after flowers always comes a date. So-uhm-would you like to go on a date with me?" He started fidgeting with his fingers, a subtle blush creeping its way up his cheeks.

"I would love to" I said slowly and watched his face brightening in an instant.

Maybe a date is not a bad idea after all.
