It gets dark pretty quickly.

Time passes. It's now 11:00 and the whole school gathers on the football field, ready to count down to the comet appearance.

Supposedly we're supposed to make a wish like a shooting star sorta thing.

I don't know how I end up sitting next to Harry, but that's just how it happens. We all lay back on the grass, watching the stars glisten in the night.

"Oh shit!" I hear Gabbi comment.

I push myself off the ground, going over to her spot next to Ashton.

"What's wrong?"

"I forgot my telescopes and everything!" She replies, exasperated as I laugh. "It's not funny, Anna!"

"It's just a stupid comet, Gabbi!"

"Yeah! One that I wanted to see."

I sigh, rolling my eyes. "Well, you sill have time. The comet's not supposed to pass till midnight."

She nods, "Okay, but we have to hurry!"

"We?" My eyebrows raise in a hint of suspicion.

"You're coming with me, dipshit!" She says, grabbing my arm and guiding me through a crowd of people.

I take the lead, heading towards Gabbi's car around the building. When he football field is out of sight, I keep walking until I reach the parking lot.

"Where did you park?" I ask.

After a moment without an answer, I turn around. "Gabbi!"

I'm knocked out.

Thoughts swarm my head as my brain finally decides to come back to consciousness.

I groan, opening my eyes slightly. Am I dead?

I am in a car, traveling to an unknown place. All the features around me look unknown. I have a huge headache taking over, and I don't even remember being in a car lastly. Who's even driving this damn car.

"Rise and shine sleepy head!"

My eyes widen as I hear Gabbi's voice in the driver's seat.

"I gotta admit, you were my most difficult victim."

My head slowly turns in the direction of her voice to see her smiling brightly. I look forward, noticing her speed has picked up.

"Gabbi, what are you......"

"Be quiet child!"

"Did you get the telescopes?"

A laugh erupts from her mouth.

"I don't understand. Where are we going?"

"The bridge on the south side of town."

"Why?"

She smirks, looking over at me. "What better way to die?"

My breathing picks up, and I am sent into fear. "What? What the hell are you talking about?"

"What does this remind you of? Luke's sister's death, I believe? You were so quick to accuse Harry, you didn't even take the time to realize the possible suspects."

"What are you talking about? What does Luke's sister have to do with anything? Harry killed her. I get that. What does that have to do with me?"

"Anna, you still don't get it, do you? I don't know how many hints I've given you. Harry didn't kill anybody."

My jaw drops in shock. "What?"

"Harry never killed Luke's sister." The words leave her mouth again and I brace myself for the next ones. A smirk covers her face. "I did."
