"How do you know we can trust her?" Oscar spoke up.

Beth stepped up, looking at Rick. "This is Maggie and Glenn. Why are we even debating?"

"We ain't. I'll go after them." Daryl replied as if it was settled.

I looked over to him. "Uh- not alone you're not."

"She's right." Rick backed me up. "Well, this place sounds pretty secure. You can't go alone."

"I'll go." Beth immediately volunteered.

"Me too." Axel agreed.

Oscar nodded his head at Rick. "I'm in."

I looked at Rick, crossing my arms. "You know I'll go no problem."

He contemplated on a strategy as we moved to load the cars with stuff to take. I went over to the bench, sitting down once the last of it was loaded. Rick came back from his talk with Carl, walking to the car, glancing in my direction. "(Y/N), I need you to stay here with the others."

I widened my eyes, snapping my head over to him. "You serious? No, I'm coming too! I can be of use getting those two back and you know it."

"I know that, but that's why I need you here. Walkers or people come to attack, I need you here to keep them safe." He nodded his head over to where Carl and the baby were.

I glanced over to Daryl and Oscar, seeing they weren't going to say anything I let out a sigh, standing down. "Okay, fine. But you all better come back safe."

"We will." Rick nodded, turning to Hershel.

"I mean it." I looked at Daryl this time. "We lost enough people."

He gave me a nod before climbing into the car with the others. I stood and watched them drive off and out of the prison before looking at everyone else. "We should head back inside."

As everyone began heading inside, I didn't know which was better; stand watch out here, or stay inside with the others. As far as I know, the inside was safe, but I didn't want to take the risk if I was wrong.

Compromising, I left the entrance to C block open and stood inside the gated stairs to keep watch as Axel came back from closing the gate."Everything good with the gates?"

"Yes ma'am they are." He replied, causing me to nod as he went back inside with the others.

A few minutes went by before Carol came out to join me, baby free. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, just worried is all." I told her, glancing out at the field.

"They'll be fine." She assured me, patting my shoulder.

"I know, I just- have this feeling." I admitted, glancing at her. "It's like my anxiety is all over the place lately. Especially after the incident a couple days ago."

She hummed, taking in my response. "About everyone or about Daryl?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Yes, about-" I widened my eyes, realizing what she said, catching me off guard. "W-What do you mean?"

Carol let out a chuckle. "I've seen you two grow rather close since the farm, don't you deny it."

I was speechless for a few moments. "I care about everyone and worry about them, not just Daryl. And yeah we became close friends, but so did the two of you. He worries about you and everyone else in the group."

"That may be true, but it's different with you." She admitted, looking at me.

"How so?" I asked, confused.
