I walked beside Daryl with Carl on the other side of me as we made our way down the tracks to this Terminus place. "Do you think the Terminus place will be like it's all cracked up to be?"
I glanced down at my shoes as I heard a grunt. "Dunno."
I looked over at Daryl, contemplating my next question. "What happened after...?"
I saw confliction on his face, assuming he was recalling it. "I told Beth to go to the road and I'd catch up but-" He paused, seeming defeated. "When I got out, a car was pulling off. Someone took her."
I nodded, understanding now. "We'll find her." I spoke up, placing my hand on his shoulder. "I mean, this group are survivalists through and through. I know she's alive, along with everyone else, and we will find them again."
He gave me a nod as Rick stopped, looking at the sign on the ground. "We're getting close." Daryl spoke up as we stopped as well. "Be there before sundown."
"Now we head through the woods." Rick spoke up, looking at us. "We don't know who they are."
I shrugged my shoulders, not having anything against it. "Well, let's not just stand around then." I took the initiative in walking into the woods.
"Alright." Daryl muttered, following with the others.
Daryl walked up beside me as we walked closer to the fence of Terminus, waving everyone else over. Rick placed his bag down, before we all walked up to the fence, glancing at what we're about to walk into. "We'll spread out, watch for a while, see what we see, and get ready." He told us all. "We all stay close."
Not even debating, I walked off with Daryl to the left side of the fence. "Ya know, you never told me what happened to you."
I let out a sigh. "Well, I locked myself in a room, busted the window out and jumped. I had seen you run to the road, so I went that way but didn't see either of you aside from Beth's stuff on the ground."
"I should've went back for ya." Daryl spoke up, feeling guilty.
I shook my head. "I told you to go, Beth needed you more than I did in that moment. Besides, I found Rick, Carl, and Michonne yesterday by chance. And found you too." I stopped, looking at Daryl. "I know I said this last time, but I'm not going anywhere this time."
Daryl looked at me for a moment before bringing me into a hug. "I'll hold you to that this time. I can't lose ya."
I smiled as he said the same thing he did that night at the cabin. I nodded, hugging back. "You won't, okay?"
We continued scoping out the area, looking at the inside to see if we could find anything out of place, but it seemed fairly quiet... too quiet in my opinion. We made our way back to Rick as he buried the bag of guns before making our way to the fence, hopping over the gate.
Aiming his crossbow around, Daryl led the way over to a building, Rick running over to grab the door that was open. The two glanced at each other before storming in, weapons raised.
'-follow the tracks to the point where all lines intersect.'
Walking inside, we made our way through a hall and into a room to find a woman at a desk, broadcasting.
'There are maps at the crossings to help guide you with your journey.'
Glancing around the room, I looked to my right to see more people, seeming to be planning.
'Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive survive. Terminus, sanctuary for all. Community for all.'
"Hello." Rick announced as we walked closer, stopping the woman from broadcasting. "Hello." He gained the attention of the others.
