Kane's POV

When I see that it's starting to get late, I decide that it's time for me to go, since I want to walk around the pack lands for a while, so I can hopefully find my mate today.

So, I say goodbye to my friends, and I take the last bite of my birthday cake, that they got for me.

Then I stand up, and I walk towards the pack house, since most of the people are there at this time of the day.

When I walk through the door, I start to sniff the air, but nothing catches my attention.

So, I walking around the pack house for about an hour, until I decide to go back outside.

I walk around the woods for another hour, and when I get tired, I sigh in disappointment, then I decide to go back to my apartment.

When I'm near the tree line, I catch an amazing scent, so I decide to follow it.

My instincts are going crazy, so I know that I'm going towards my mate.

I reach some small clearing, and I have to concentrate, since there are a lot of people here, so it won't be very easy to find the person that I'm looking for.

I manage to catch the scent, so I go in the direction that it comes from, and I smile when I realise that I'm going in the direction of a group of pretty girls.

But when I'm near them, I realise that none of them is the source of the smell, which makes me frown.

So, I follow the scent again, and it comes from behind the tree, that is in front of me, so when I get close to it, I stop walking, and I take a few deep breaths to calm myself, then I go further, so I can finally meet my mate.

I walk past the trees, and I tun around to see that Wyatt is sitting with his back rested against the tree.

I try to say something, but I can't manage to get the words out, which makes him smile in amusement.

I start to feel dizzy, and it seems that Wyatt sees that I will falls soon, so he quickly stands up, and he helps me sit on the ground.

When I feel a bit better, I move away from him, and I send him a glare.

"Don't touch me." I tell him, and he frowns.

"Were not mates." I tell him, and he comes over to me again, but I quickly send up, and I start to walk away.

I can hear that he's following me, so I turn around, and I glare at him.

"Go away from me." I tell him angrily, which makes him stop walking, and I decide to walk away.

But son I realise that he is following me again, so I turn around, and I punch him in the face.

The punch was hard enough to make him faint, and that gives me the opportunity to walk away.
