Kane's POV

I go out of my family apartment, and then I go outside of the pack house.

I want to see Wyatt, since I haven't seen him for a few days again, so I decided to go to his house.

He should be there right now, and if he's not there, then hopefully the Alpha or someone else, will be able to tell me where I will find him.

Wyatt told me that they know that we're mates, so I won't have to lie which is good, since I don't think that I would have been able to lie to the Alpha.

But before I can even step on the path that leads to Wyatt's house, one of my friends stops me, so I look at him.

"Are the rumours true?" Royce asks me, and I frown.

"What rumours?" I ask him.

"That you're with Wyatt. Someone overheard the Alpha talking with one of his mates about it." He informs me, and I take a moment to consider if I should lie about it, but I just sigh in frustration, and I look at him again.

"He my mate but don't tell anyone other than our group of friends." I say, and as soon as the words leave my mouth, he makes a disgusted face.

"That's disgusting." He tells me.

"I didn't accept him as my mate, we are just friends, because the bond is too strong for us to stay apart for very long." I tell him, but the disgust doesn't leave his face.

"You really have to figure out some way to break the bond then, because I don't think that I will be able to be friends with you, if you will be with a guy." He tells me, and I frown.

"The Moon Goddess paired me with him, I didn't choose to be his mate." I tell him, angrily.

"I know, but that doesn't make it any less disgusting, it's enough that we have to follow a gay Alpha." He tells me, and I decide that I had enough of this conversation, so I decide to turn around, and I walk away.

Royce doesn't follow me, and I'm glad that he doesn't, since I bet that if he did, then I would have to punch him.

And last time I punches someone for following me, I had to talk with the Alpha for over an hour, and I had to listen to him while he angrily explained why it's unacceptable to beat someone, as long as it's not self defence.

I go towards Wyatt's house, but I can't stop thinking about what Royce had told me.

I know that my other friends think the same as he, and I don't want to breaks our friendship which remembers the time that we were just small kids.

If I will have to choose between my friends, and the mate that I never wanted to have, than I will choose my friends without any doubts.

So, when I reach my hand, to knock on the front door of Wyatt's house, I decide that I have to do whatever it will take to not lose my friends.
