Kane's POV

I start to get worried, since Wyatt didn't really tell me for how long he's planning to go out for.

But I have assumed that he won't take very long, since he said that he will be going only for a walk.

And now it has been over four hours since I have last seen him, but Timmy and Mason had assured me that it's normal for Wyatt to go on a long walk, so they calmed me a bit.

Not long ago Carter joined us in the living room, and we decided to watch a movie with the kids.

I stand up to use the bathroom, while everyone keeps watching the movie.

When I go back to the living room, I can see that Carter is standing in the corridor, talking to someone on the phone, and he has a worried expression on his face, so I go to him to check if everything's fine.

"Alright we will be there in a few minutes." Carter says, and then he hangs up.

"What's wrong?" I ask him.

"Wyatt's in the hospital, someone had beaten him, and one of the pack members helped him walk to the hospital." He explains, and my eyes widen.

"Can I go to see him?" I ask.

"You can, but wait here for a moment, I will take Timmy, and we will go together." He says, so I nod, and I go towards the front door to put on my shoes on.

Carter and Timmy join me quickly, so we go outside, and soon we're entering the pack hospital.

Timmy knocks onto he Doctor's office, while I go towards the scent of my mate, and I enter the room right after I reach the door.

Wyatt is laying on the bed, and I think that he's sleeping, he's leg is in a cast and his face has a big bruise on it, along with his arm.

I quickly go towards him, and I reach my hand to touch his hair.

He opens his eyes not much later, so I smile at him, and he smiles back, although I know that it must be painful, considering the fact the he has a bruise on his jaw.

"What happened?" I ask him.

"I was walking towards the pack house, and your father stopped me,  then he punched me several times." He tells me, and my eyes widen.

"Sorry." I say, I don't even know why I'm apologising, since it's not my fault, but I couldn't stop myself from doing it.

"It's not your fault." He tells me, so I nod reluctantly.

I sit on the chair, that is next to the bed on which my mate is laying on, and not long later Carter and Timmy come into the room.

"The Doctor told me what happened." Carter says, and Wyatt nods in acknowledgement.

"I will have to kick your father out of the pack, and I bet that your mother will go with him. Is that alright with you?" Carter asks me, and I consider it, before I nod reluctantly.

"Yes, but make sure that they won't take my sister with them, I'm sure that my brother will take her." I say, and Carter nods.
