Wyatt's POV

A few days later, I have decided that it's the time to tell my family that Kane is my mate.

It's an early morning, so I know that the kids aren't awake yet, but my parents are most likely already downstairs.

So, I go out of my room, and I go to the dining room, where my parents and Mason are already sitting at the table.

The things that are necerary to make a sandwich are on the table, so I sit down, and I start to make a few for myself.

But when I'm done, I put them on the table, and I take a deep breath, before I turn my head to look at them.

"What's wrong?" Dad asks, when he notices that I want to say something.

"I found my mate." I tell them, using my hands, and papas eyes widen.

"That's great who is that?" Dad asks me, sounding happy for me.

"Kane." I tell him.

"The same Kane that punched you?" Papa asks, sounding a bit angry.

"Yeah, but don't worry, I was hanging out with him recently, and he didn't punch me again." I tell him, and he nods reluctantly.

"I'm very happy for you." Dad says.

"Wait, Kane is in this pack, so you had to know that he's your mate since you're sixteenth birthday." Papa says, and I nod with an innocent smile.

"Why didn't you tell us?" He asks, sounding a bit offended.

"Because I wanted Kane to know that we're mates, before everyone else, and I didn't want to tell him I wanted him to see for himself." I explain, and papa nods.

"Alright." He says, but I know that he's unhappy about the fact that I didn't tell him that I have known who my mate is for over two years.

I'm very good at keeping secrets, so it wasn't anything hard for me.

I look at Mason, and he smiles at me, but he doesn't say anything.

Mason is my parents' mate, and he used to be my brother, since my parents have adopted him when he was a little kid, but now we're just friends, since it would have been weird if my parents were dating someone that I consider a brother.

It doesn't really bother me, but I know that it used to bother one of my brothers, and even thought he have accepted the fact that Mason is our parents' mate, it still makes him very uncomfortable.

Mason has a lot to say when it comes to rising his kids, but he usually doesn't get involved in the conversations that my parents have with me or my siblings.

He just let's papa and dad handle their kids, while he helps to rise his own, and I think that it's for the best, since I don't think that I would have been comfortable with Mason being my father.

He's not much older than me, so that would have been weird, but at least my parents and Mason managed to make this family work.
