Kane's POV

I haven't seen Wyatt for the past few days, but that's most likely because I was trying to avoid him.

I stayed in my room for most of the time, and Wyatt doesn't really come to the pack house, so it was easy to avoid him.

But today, my friends have decided that they want to go out, and they decided to drag me with them, after I have refused.

So, now I'm siting somewhere in the middle of the woods, and they didn't even bring anything to eat, so I'm frustrated.

I try to ignore them as much as I can, and I try to come up with a plan.

I have to apologise to Wyatt, I have thought about it the last few days, and I decided that I won't be able to stay away from him for much longer, since the mate bond is too strong.

I really can't stop thinking about him, and I know that I won't be able to stop doing that until I will be near him.

And to do that, we will have to be on good terms.

So, today I will apologise, and hopefully we can be friends, since I don't want to me mates, and I don't think that I ever will.

After a few hours, my friends decide to go back to the pack house, and they drag me with them again, but when we reach it, I manage to get away from them, and I go towards the Alpha's house.

I wonder if the Alpha knows that I'm his son's mate, but I really doubt that Wyatt had told his parents.

Before I can reach the house, I see Wyatt, who's going my way, but I don't think that he's realises that I'm walking towards him.

Before I can reach him, he sniffs me out, and he looks up to see me.

"Can we talk?" I ask him, and he frowns, but then he nods.

I lead him into the woods, so no one will be able to overhear the conversation, and he follows me reluctantly.

I laugh slightly when I realise that I asked to talk with him when he doesn't talk, and he stops walking, so I turn around to look at him.

He moves his hand, but I just frown, since I have no idea what he's trying to tell me.

He rolls his eyes, and he pulls out a white notepad with blank pages out of his pocket, along with a pencil.

He opens it and he writes something, then he gives it to me.

"Why were you laughing? What are you planning to do?" He asks.

"I laughed, because I realised that I asked to talk to you, while you can't talk." I tell him, and he just shakes his head, clearly amused.

I look around, and I decide that we can talk here, since no one is around.

"I wanted to apologise to you for beating you." I tell him, and he nods.

"The mating bond is making me crazy, but I don't think that I will be able to be your mate, so I want to try to be friends." I tell him, and he frowns.
