Chapter 31

Kane's POV

Wyatt decided to spend some time with his brother, so I will go to see how my sister is doing.

She's living with my brother now, so it's a big change for her, especially because my brother has a few kids that are around her age, so she went from spending her day with much older people, to being surrounded by kids the whole day.

I just hope that she likes to live with my brother more than she liked to live with my parents, since she had to move to our brother because of me.

Well not entirely, since it was my father's fault that he got himself kicked out of the pack, but I have asked Carter to give my sister to my brother.

When I enter the pack house, I quickly go up the stairs, and I knock on my brother's apartment door, he opens it not much later, and I step inside.

"How's Olivia?" I ask him.

"She's fine." He tells me, and he disappears into one of the rooms, then he comes back with my sister, so I take her form him, and she smiles at me.

I sit on the couch, and talk to her for a bit, and not much later my brother's kids come over to me, so I give them a hug.

They're a bit older than Olivia, but not much, so at least Olivia will grow up with kids her age.

"How are you?" My brother asks, after his mate takes the kids into one of the other rooms, leaving only my sister here.

"I'm fine." I say.

"And Wyatt?" He asks.

"He's alright, he's with one of his brother's now, so I decided to check on Olivia." I tell him, and he nods.

"So, everything's good between the two of you?" He asks me, while frowning.

"Yeah, I think that this mate bond might work out after all." I tell him, and he nods with a smile.

"That's good then." He says.

We talk for a while, and then I decide to go back to the house, so I say goodbye to my brother's family, and I head out of their apartment.

When I walk down the stairs, I see my friends, and they notice me too, so we look at each other for a while, and it looks like they're about to come over to me.

So, I consider if I should run, but before I can do it, a guard comes over to them, and when I look at the direction that he came from, I can see that there are a few more guards there.

I sigh in relieve, and I go towards the front door.

I just hope that the guards won't let them follow me, but just in case that it will happen, I decide to walk a bit faster than I would have if I didn't see them.

And I reach Wyatt's family house, not much later, so I sigh in relieve, and I decide took go to the living room to wait on Wyatt.
