Kane's POV

I wait for his response, but he only looks at me, as if he doesn't know what to say.

Soon he takes the notepad form my hand, and he starts to write again.

"Friends? " He asks.

"Yes, I really don't think that you would want to be with me, I have no idea how I would have handled to be in a gay relationship, I'm a bit disgusted at the thought of that." I say honestly, hoping that he will let us be friends.

He considers it for a long while, then he nods his head, and I let out a sigh of relieve.

"That's good." I say, and he smiles.

I sit down, and he decides to sit too, so I look at him, and he writes something again.

"Who convinced you to apologise? I don't believe that you would have done it without being convinced." He tells me.

"My brother kind of shouted at me, after I asked him for an advice." I tell him with a chuckle, and he nods in acknowledgement.

I can't believe that it's this easy to talk to him, I think the mating bond is numbing all the bad emotions, and that lets us talk without arguing.

"Did you tell your parents that were mates?" I ask him curiously, and he shakes his head.

"I'm really bad at keeping the conversation going, so talking to you is going to be hard." I tell him with a groan, and he smiles in amusement.

"You should learn how to talk." I tell him half seriously, and he punches my arm, so I laugh.

I have no idea why Wyatt doesn't talk, I think that I remember that he was talking when we were kids, but I'm not very sure about that.

"Why are you not taking?" I ask him, and he just shrugs.

I resist the urge to groan, and I think that he realises that I wanted to do that, because he chuckles slightly.

"You will be the death of me." I tell him, and he smirks, so I shake my head at him.

"It's your turn to talk now, I have no idea what to talk about." I inform him, so he rolls hie eyes, but he decides to write something in his notepad, so I wait until he shows me the page.

"You're boring, but I think that we can work on that." He tells me.

"Whatever." I say with an eye roll.

I hear some footsteps, and I look up to see that the Alpha is coming over here, with a glare on his face.

"What are you doing here together?" He asks us.

"We were just talking." I tell him.

"What aren't the guards with you?" He asks me, and I shrug.

"They saw that I was going out of the pack house, but I don't think that anyone followed me." I explain, and he swears under his breath.

"Do you want to stay here?" The Alpha asks Wyatt, and he nods his head, so his father leaves us alone.
