The first thing Candice was not wanting to do was go straight to the Salvatores first thing in the morning, but Damon says it's important and it has a lot to do with why she was kidnapped. She walked into the boarding house. "Okay, what is so important that I had to leave the comfort of my bed?"

Damon stood beside her as Rose appeared. "Me."

"Why are you here?"

"There is something you should know about your future. Something that should happened to either Katherine or Alana."

Candice walked over and sat down so Rose could explain. She listened to Rose tell her the story over 500 years ago making Candice think of why Alana was really wanted. The only person who will give her answers is Katherine Peirce herself.

After listening to what Rose had to say, Candice set her next destination to the tomb. She needed answers. "Katherine?"

"Candice, I'm surprised to see you."

"Tell me about Alana. Why is she important in this too?"

"Alana and I were linked. A witch linked us. Like you and Elena, your friendship, it's not just a friendship, but a bond that both doppelgangers have created. The reason why you are in this mess is because Alana's blood was the answer to Klaus's curse."

"The sun and the moon." Katherine nodded. "Then how do I exist?"

"Alana had a little boy. I guess she didn't think before she was killed that you would be born and look just like her and act like her, the difference, you have Damon's heart. She was killed the same day we arrived to Mystic Falls." She tells her. "I'm going to warn you right now, if you don't do what he says, your family and friends will end up like ours."

"Dead."

"Yes."

She heard someone coming down the tomb and looked to see Stefan with Elena. Candice didn't say anything or listen as she was letting what Katherine told her in. Her friendship with Elena was not like any other friendship, they were linked. Elena noticed how quiet her friend was as she walked away. "What did you say to her?"

"That if she doesn't do what Klaus wants, everyone she loves will die. I just left out the Damon part."

Stefan looked at her. "There's more to that, is there."

"Yes, but I'll let Candice tell you." She says. "I will warn you all, get in the way of Klaus getting to Candice, all of you will pay."
