Chapter 4-Tradgey

Driving around for a while neither Jack, ty or Dominic could decide on where to eat instead of driving for hours as it was getting late in the night they headed to ty's trailer. Lighting the campfire each one of them sat around embracing the heat. Looking up at Dominic and Ty Jack smiled. "So what are your plans now that you are back" Ty asks as he hands both Dominic and Jack a beer. "Well there is no time like the present I guess. I want to ask Georgie to marry me" Dominic said as he watched the flames roar. Jack spat his drink out in shock. "I was definitely not expecting that to come out straight away, have you thought this through all the way marriage is a big commitment." Jack replied making eye contact. "Yeah it is and I want to do it, I love her jack." Dominic replied as he turned his head to watch the sunset. "Right i'm going to turn in for the night you two, I'll talk to you tomorrow" Jack said as he went inside Ty's trailer. "I'm going to turn in to Dom I would love to stay and talk but i'm just exhausted." Ty said as he walked over to the couch. "Don't worry about it Ty just get some rest" Dominic said as he went back to watching the sunset. Once it ended Dominic went into the tent and fell asleep. 

(8 hours and 18 minutes later at 5 am)

Dominic awoke and got the fire started again as he put his guitar by his side and began feeling the heat Dominic smiled at it. "Ahh today is the day" Dominic said to himself as Jack walked out of the trailer and spotted him by the fire. Walking over Jack sat down with his coffee in his hand "it's good to see your still a early riser" Jack said sitting down. "Yeah" Dominic smiled. "One second guys, just let me get changed and I will join you" Ty says as he enters the trailer. A minute went by and Ty joined the other two at the fire. As the sun began to cast it's beautiful rays on the fields Dominic grabbed his guitar. "You guys don't mind do you music helps me think" Dominic asks looking at Jack and Ty. "Not at all please do your thing" Jack said. 

"Wow the emotion in that song" Jack said stunned from what he just witnessed. "Yeah it truly is amazing" Ty said. "Thank you, it's just something i've been working on. Anyway better be heading out Jack could I Catch a lift to Heartland I would like to speak to Lou and Peter" Dominic asked with a smile. "Sure hop in, see you later Ty" Jack said as he drove off towards Heartland. "So i'm assuming you want to talk to Lou and Peter about your proposal to Georgie" Jack said keeping focus on the road. "Honestly it is not the first thing that crossed my mind but I suppose it should be" Dominic replied smiling. Jack laughed as he pulled into the road leading to Heartland. The car pulled up and Lou stepped out of the house curious about where Jack was all night. "Grandpa, where have you been?" Lou asks as Dominic gets out of the truck. "Right i'll leave you to it Dom and good luck." Jack said as he went inside the house. 

"I think we need to talk about things, if that is alright with you" Dominic said as he looked at Lou. "Well of course let's go to Maggies" Lou replied as she got in her car and the two drove away. Meanwhile Georgie entered the kitchen. "Hey Jack where is Lou going" Georgie asked as she was greeted by his warm smile. "Her and Dom are going to Maggies to talk" Jack said. "Talk" Georgie said as a shocked expression made it's onto her face. "As a matter of fact there is something I would like to discuss with you." Jack said as he motioned for her to take a seat. pouring herself some coffee and sat down. "So the whole thing going on with you and Dominic, I have heard his side of things and I want to know yours." Jack said. Georgie's face went red as she did everything she could to avoid eye contact. However it was completely useless in the end she looked directly at Jack. "I think i'm in love with him" Georgie blurted out without even a tone out of place. Jack smiled, "Seems to me you more than think by the way you reacted to seeing him the other day." Jack laughed causing Georgie to laugh as well.

On the other hand Lou and Dominic pulled into Maggies and entered the shop taking a seat in the far corner the two ordered some food and drink. "So what did you want to talk about?" Lou asked with a serious look on her face. "I don't know where to begin, apparently everyone seems to already know about how I feel about Georgie" Dominic said as he watched his food get placed in front of him. "So you do Love her then" Dominic struggled to take a breath as it felt like the entire room stared at him demanding a answer. "You okay Dom" Lou asked as she noticed Dominic paying less attention than usual. "Yeah sorry was I daydreaming again" Dominic said as his phone began to ring. It stopped ringing and Dominic saw a text from his mother saying to get to the hospital quickly as Lloyd has just been injured. "Lou we need to go to the hospital my brother has just been rushed in." Dominic stated. Picking up her keys she rushed to her car with Dom and headed towards the hospital. 

(20 minutes later)

Walking in Skye ran and hugged him in tears as Dominic comforted her to the best of his ability before walking over to his mum. "Hey you okay, do we know what happened?" Dominic asked as he wrapped his arms around Hayley in a comforting manor. "We are not too sure yet they are still trying to figure it out." Hayley said in between the tears. Shortly afterwards Jack and Georgie arrived at the hospital to support the rest of the Heart family.
