Chapter 7-Family First

"Ahh you guys came out of nowhere, what exactly did you want us to explain" Dominic said as he struggled to keep a smile from appearing. "Shut it, we want him to explain it to us" Stuart stated. Lloyd looked up at his dad as the eyes turned to pure anger and made him swallow his pride. "I have a son, it was never meant to happen this way but he was born a little while ago and that's why i've been away for long periods of time." Lloyd said not breaking eye contact with either of his parents. "I have a grandson" Hayley smiled. "Well what are your plans now then huh you going to marry this woman" Stuart sighed. "No, neither of us are ready for that but we are going to raise the baby together and if your all willing, I would love for you to come meet him" Lloyd said. "Him" Hayley said. "Yes Him mom his name is Jacob Heart" Dominic said smiling. Lloyd and Hayley both returned the smile however Stuart walked away and refused to be in the moment with his loved ones. "don't worry, your father he'll come around and I would love to go and meet him can we do it now?" Hayley asked. Nodding in response Dominic,Lloyd and Hayley headed to the car.

Shortly after they departed from the ranch, trees were flying past the windows as if they were a single moment in time but suddenly they slowed as if running alongside the car as it approached a house on the outskirts of hudson. "Yeah this is the place" Lloyd said. Helping Lloyd out the car Dominic dropped him as a woman with beautiful brown hair approached them. "Howdy Stranger, how are you holding up" the woman asked. "Ahh i've been better allow me to introduce everyone this is my brother Dominic, and my Mother Hayley sadly my sister is preoccupied. Everyone this is Jane Dawson my girlfriend and Jacob's mother." Lloyd said as they all started to move towards the house. "It's a pleasure to finally meet you all" Jane said. "Hmmm i'm not sure pleasure is the word I would use considering we only found about you today" Haley said in a condescending tone. "I can't speak for them but I am one hundred percent happy to meet you" Dominic quickly responded with a smile. "Dominic Heart, I really do Love your music it's fantastic" Jane replied. 

They reached the house and Jane entered and exited holding Little jacobs hand as he greeted his father in the wheelchair. Hayley and stuart smiled as they watched their son and their grandson together laughing and cuddling. "May I hold him" Hayley swooned as she couldn't help but smile at Jacob as he cuddled into her arms. Jane smiled at how quickly Jacob was quickly welcomed by the Heart family. "Oh babe don't forget the other news" Jane said as she looked at Lloyd. "Oh right yes of course I am going to be moving in with Jane so that we can raise Jacob together. Slightly shooken at this Hayley took a second before approaching Jane "look after them please and welcome to our family if you need anything just ask" Hayley said. Dominic watched from afar and smiled at his family getting bigger. 

Meanwhile over at heartland Georgie and Amy were sitting in the kitchen listening to Lou go on and on about how she wants to build additional dude ranch cabins so they can have more guests. "Lou sweetie, I think that's enough for now besides I would like to borrow Georgie please" Peter said entering the kitchen. The two step outside and walk towards the barn slowly, "What are your plans for the future?" Peter asked. "The future Wow i'm not sure, I think I want to  try something with horses like what Amy does because it's good and i'm good at it." Georgie said. "Okay what about marriage and kids do you have a life plan?" Peter asked a second time. "Life plan" Georgie responded confused. "Yes you know like get a good job, get a boyfriend, get married have some fun for a few years then have kids" Peter responded. "Dad, woah thats crazy I haven't thought that far ahead in my life it's way to structured for me." Georgie replied. "Haha okay you're probably right I have got to get to work so I will see you later at dinner sweetie" Peter said as he kisses her forehead and walks back to his car. 

Amy joined Georgie in the barn slightly after, "You know this job isn't easy you can't get attached to the horses." "Oh I know but it seems to me that this horses problem is attachment he never got over his old owner his still loyal to a fault" Georgie said looking at the horse intently. "You know I think your right" Amy said as she laughed. "Could you let me have a go at helping this one" Georgie asked. "Of course have at it i'll watch just in case you need any help." Amy responded. Georgie took the horses reins and led him out to the round pen.

It was like something out of a disney movie as Georgie sat center in the middle as the horse raced around and around yet georgie didn't move a muscle. "I know you miss your owner and i'm truly sorry for any harm you have experienced past or present but trust me I'm here to help you. somehow the horse heard her as he slowed his speed to a complete stop before looking at her and charging but right before he hit her Georgie's eyes opened. "No" Georgie whispered and the horse stopped in front of her and ate the food then laid down next to her. "Georgie what was that" Amy asked. "It was just patience I knew he could sense my true intentions and would not harm me" Georgie said smiling. "I'm impressed your one hundred percent cut out for this job maybe you can teach me a few things." Amy said. Smiles filled the air as they put the horse back into the stall and a familiar truck engine could be heard. Amy's face lit up as she saw ty's truck pull in to the driveway.
