Chapter 21-The Proposal

Pacing up and down the decking, his mind raced through outcomes like it was the race of his life, "hey, how you doing" Lloyd said as he approached his brother sensing the distress. "There is so much that can go wrong today man i'm not prepared for it. "Woah slow down man you don't know if it's going to go bad besides i think that we both know that the love between you and Georgie is something truly amazing." Lloyd said with a smile. "Oh yeah it is definitely something good and strong" Skye said as she joined the two on the decking. "ahhh the good old heart siblings hey" Dominic said as they all began to laugh. Stuart and Hayley were in Lily's room watching her sleep as she just looked so peaceful and out of the problems that plagued this world. 

"I can feel the fact that you guys have some intense advice so lay it on me. I could really use it" Dominic sighed. "Look no matter what happens today with Georgie just do your best and don't let your emotions or fear get away with dictating your life." Skye said being incredibly wise. "Looking at my life i'm glad that I took the leap because now I have Jacob and Jane and i truly love you guys and them with everything I have. Choosing love is the best thing I ever did" Lloyd said. "there must have been some stuff you regret right and mistakes you made." Skye said trying to get her brother to pen up about his life a bit more. "I'd rather regret things when I'm old but right now I'm in the moment and that's were I need to be. Dom you need to stay in the moment today don't get distracted by other things just focus on the proposal and nothing else." Lloyd said. "Okay just focus on the proposal that's a solid plan" Dominic said looking down at the floor. 

Meanwhile over at Heartland Georgie's eyes darted around her bedroom searching for a place to rest upon. Landing upon a photo of Dominic. Anger faded from her body as love fueled the smile greeting her face "Dominic Heart, you are completely a mystery to me but seriously cute" Georgie sighed. living in the fantasy of her head she truly forgot the world and it's issues as well as the reason she had so much anger. however as her alarm went off she snapped back to reality and remembered her reasoning very clearly. Despite this she was still excited to see him.  

(7:45 am)

Entering the kitchen Georgie was slightly weirded out by the crucial fact that the entire family was thee in the kitchen eating breakfast. "You all seem very happy this morning" Georgie said trying not t o start anty big conversations as her brain was focusing on the ever looming question she had. "So are you seeing Dominic today" Tim asked in a awkward way. "Uhhh yes his coming here at nine and we are going to go on a horse ride" Georgie responded in a grumpy mood. being so caught up in her mood she failed to realize that everyone had a worried reaction stretched across their faces. "Yeah well, i'm still angry at him so i don't know how today will go" Georgie said as she began to eat up her breakfast.

On the other hand at the Heart family Ranch Dominic, Skye and Lloyd were sitting on the decking embracing the cold breeze. "I can't believe that I had a panic attack yesterday" Dominic said in absolute disbelief, "Yeah what was that about, like what caused it" Lloyd asked. "I honestly don't know it could be the stress of my music show or it could be the whole prospect of the future or maybe it could have been about the proposal" Dominic said letting his anger show. "Woah calm down just try and think rationally about the events leading up to it and that maybe help you understand it and yourself a bit better." Skye responded. "Woah using therapy on us now are you sis" Lloyd said laughing. Dominic joined in with the laughter as it was a truly hysterical moment between the siblings. "Yeah that could work on lilly but us, is impossible" Dominic said distracting himself from his dilemma. "there's the smile that Georgie fell in love with" Hayley said as she walked out the front door to check on the children. They all smiled at the cheesy comment before getting up off the ground. 

(8 am - 8:35am) 

"Okay I better get going otherwise i'll be in even more trouble see you guys soon" Dominic said with a smile. "Yes go we'll see you there and remember keep your eyes on the goal" Lloyd and Skye said in unison. Before they could say anything more he was already in his car on his way to heartland with a clear intention to be early. the road went by him so fast like a hurricane sweeping across the land. until he came up to the turning heading onto the heartland drive way.

(8:35 am)

Honking his horn Dominic signified that he was here and Georgie greeted him at the entrance to the main house with a singular kiss on the cheek. "Okay I know i'm early but i'm here let's get the horses and head on up towards the lake" Dominic said. Georgie nodded not wanting to waste any time as they walked to the barn Dominic waved at the house signalling for them to go and get in position with the white roses in hand. By the time that the horses were tacked up and ready to go everyone one was in position. "Okay so why didn't you propose to me in the restaurant" Georgie out right questioned. "I wanted it to be special for you because you are the most special person in my life" Dominic said as they began walking down path and Jack handed Georgie the first rose. "I.." Georgie hesitated as they kept walking and rose by rose she collected from her family and then Dominic's family suddenly arriving at the lake with a handful of beautiful white roses in hand. Dismounting Dominic tied the horses around the tree just as the two families joined them at the lake Mills handed Dom his guitar. 

"I wrote that song for you because you are the most beautiful girl I see and your the girl I want to share my last name so Georgie fleming-Morris will you do me the honour of becoming my wife" Dominic asked pulling out a Onyx ring with a golden heart on it.
