Chapter 16-Date Night

As  he got halfway down the road he pulled over once more and got out his phone and rang Georgie. "Hey you busy tonight want to go and get some dinner" Getting the response of yes Dominic turned his car around like a bullet pulling back into heartland to pick up his girl. "Bye Lou I will be back later i'm going to get dinner with Dom" Georgie said as she walked through the kitchen and out of the door. "Okay have fun" lou shouted a little however Georgie didn't here her. it took a couple of seconds for Lou to realise what had happned and she quickly called peter into the kitchen. "I think he's going to propose to her tonight they are going to dinner alone tonight" Lou said as she got a bit excited. "Honey calm down you can't be certain of anything as of right now" Peter said trying to calm her down. "What is going on here why are you staring out the window" Tim said as he walked through the door. "Nothing too serious" Peter said. "Oh is this about Doms proposal plan" Tim blurted out. "His what" Peter and Lou said in unison. 

Lou's face became full of anger whereas peters was disappointed. "Oh he didn't share it with you" Tim said as he avoided eye contact with his daughter. "Tell me" Lou demanded. "Don't say another word Tim" Jack said as he walked in. "Grandpa do you know" Lou asked. "Nope but he will tell us when his ready too" Jack said. "His right I already said too much besides his plan is rubbish anyway and should be improved if he wants to win over her heart" Tim said. "I honestly don't think that really matters, he could make it awful but if they are meant to be together she will say yes" Jack said before leaving the room. 

Meanwhile down the road Dominic and Georgie are Driving down the road. "So where are we going to have dinner" Georgie asked curious as too their Destination. "Hmm you see I was thinking somewhere nice like Southfork" Dominic said as he turned down the road. "That's very expensive i'm fine going to maggies honestly." Georgie said, Dominic looked at her with a smile, "Not tonight" Dominic said as he gripped the ring that was in his pocket before long they pulled into the restaurant parking lot. "Okay are you ready" Dominic asked as he got out the car and helped Georgie out of the car with a warm loving smile. the two walked towards the restaurant and were seated straight away. Then it began with a couple of glances at each other as they gazed through the menu, "Hello can I take your order"  the waiter asked. "I will have the Lasagna with the salad on the side please" Georgie said. "Yeah I will have the same minus the salad thank you very much." Dominic said with a warm smile.

"So how is your music going" Georgie asked "Well it certainly is progressing a lot as i'm going to be the host of a show called Echo at the beginning of next year thanks to Mayor White." Dominic responded to her. "Woah that is amazing, will you still produce music on the side" She asked. "Yes of course I can never give up my music" Dominic replied once again. "What about you what have you been up to" Dominic asked. "Well Been helping out Amy a lot with the horses and riding Phoenix he really does love to jump anything" Georgie said. "Yeah I remember that horse it's good to see he still has the energy and what about your trick riding are you still doing that" Dominic asked. "I am actually it's just not as fun as it used to be if i'm being honest I kind of care about helping horses a lot more than competitions these days" Georgie said as both of their dinners were placed in front of them "ooh looks delicious" Georgie said as the pair began to start eating their dinner. 

"How have your family been you heard much from Amy since the fire" Dominic said. "Yes of course she's fine she will be home tomorrow we never did thank you for what you did for us on saving her life and rebuilding the barn." Georgie said. "Well I am pleased to help in anyway I can" Dominic smiled, Georgie returned the smile. "What about you and your family how have they been" Georgie asked. "Yh they're great, Skye has a girlfriend now she seems really happy and my brother has a little boy called Jacob his adorable. And of course you know about little Lilly who is the cutest baby sister in the world." Dominic said in response as he continued to eat his dinner. "You know I want to say something you are the most amazing girl that I have ever been with and I honestly and truly love you" Dominic stated. Georgie blushed and took a second to swallow her food. "I love you too" She blushed once more as Dominic leant in and kissed her cheek. "Do you want to get out of here and just got have some fun" Georgie said to Dominic as the two shared a grin. "Yes" Dominic replied as he left the waitress the bill and a decent tip exiting the restaurant and handing Georgie the keys. "There you go i'm certain you have a place in mind so take us there" Dominic said with his warm smile. They were out of the parking lot before they knew it and on their way with smiles and laughter emitting from their faces.   

Meanwhile at Heartland Lou and peter were anxiously waiting in the kitchen wondering if their daughter will come back with a ring on her finger. "You know constantly looking out of the window isn't going to make time go faster." Tim said standing in the doorway of the kitchen. "It's not that easy Dad" Lou said. "Your worrying over nothing" Tim said as he then left.
