Chapter 5-Pulling Through

"Mrs Heart, I'm Doctor David Coupland your son's Doctor. Lloyd has been in a severe car accident and is in a medically induced coma the timing of when he will wake up is unclear to us at this current moment. He is in room twelve if you would like to see him we encourage you to talk to him and try to keep it happy thoughts." Doctor coupland said before walking off. Hayley and Skye walked down to room twelve to see him whereas Dominic didn't move from his seat. Noticing this Jack nudged Georgie hinting at her to talk to him. "Hey, how are you doing?" Georgie asked. "I'm sorry I can't do this" Dominic said as he ran out of the hospital needing to get away from everyone's eyes. Once the close was clear he broke down into tears and gripped the oddly shaped wooden bench he was sitting on. "I had a feeling you might bottle it up inside" Georgie said. Dominic smiled for a brief second. Taking his hand Georgie pulled him into a tight warm hug as the emotions started to overwhelm him. Sitting in silence was all they did as tears ran down Dom's face.

Meanwhile in room Twelve, Skye watched in agony as her brothers heartbeat was slower than usual and he was completely unresponsive not taking another second she ran out of the room bumping right into Lou. "Aww there there sweetie, your brothers strong he will pull through" Lou said as she hugged her. "How do you know" Skye asked with tears consuming her eyes. "Look don't stress yourself over it, he will just have faith and hope that he will" Lou said. "Yeah, your right I just wish my dad was here instead of working" Skye said as she hugged Lou before walking outside of the hospital. Skye walked a bit and saw Dominic hugging Georgie in tears instead of continuing she turned and walked away letting the pair cherish their moment. 

"Would it help you if I came in the room with you to see your brother?" Georgie asked as the tears on Dominic's face subsided. "I would love that" Dominic replied as the two walked back into the hospital and towards room twelve. Seeing Georgie walking with Dom into room twelve Lou and Jack smiled as they just felt right together. "Oh..this is just too much" Dominic said as he tried to exit the room however georgie held him back, "No running Dom, you have to face this" Georgie said. "Hahahaha his never been good at that." Lloyd coughed loudly. Dominic became shocked and happy at the same time and quickly left the room. "Doctor, Doctor his awake My brothers Awake." Dominic shouted. Hayley smiled as did Skye. "Sometimes I think Dom has a magic touch" Skye whispered to Lou causing her to smile and giggle. After sometime the doctor returned to the family who were patiently waiting. "His awake and we have run further tests he has a severe fracture in both of his legs and will need serious physical therapy. We would like to keep him here for a few more days and I advise you to go home and rest." Doctor Coupland said before walking off towards the back of the hospital. "Come on mom let's get some rest" Dominic said as he got his mom in Lou's car with skye and she drove them back to their ranch.

The night rolled on quickly after everyone had showered and cleaned up the place a bit. However Dominic couldn't sleep instead he got out his phone and texted Georgie hoping she would be awake.

(20 minutes later)

Watching the glistening moon Dominic jumped out of his skin as Georgie gave him a single direct poke on his back. "Jeez scared much" Georgie said as the pair of them started laughing as they walked towards a bench that overlooked the forest and the lake. "So what is your on mind so much that you can't sleep." Georgie asked. Taking a deep breath Dominic looked at Her. "You and well just you" Dominic said as their eyes locked, the two leant in and Their lips gave one anothers a soft magical embrace. A minute later the exchange broke off and the two cuddled on the bench watching the moon. All worries had left their heads as each felt each others warmth. "I know this is a silly question, but are we like dating now" Georgie asked. Dominic smiled at her question before breaking his focus off the moon to look at her. "Yes we are, if that is something you want of course" Dominic said nervously. Georgie chuckled at how nervous he got but quickly kissed him with such passion. "Yes that is one hundred percent what I want" Georgie replied.

 On the other hand at Heartland, Amy and Ty were dealing with the horses making sure they hand enough food and were all squared away for the night. "So are you all mine tonight" Amy teases to ty as they stand in the doorway watching the moon. "Amy i've got to ask you something" Ty said as he looked at her fondly. Amy lit up with hope and stared at him. "Do you think Georgie and Dominic are dating now?" Ty asked. Amy stood there a solid minute debating the question until ty took her hand. "Amy i'm kidding, Will you Marry me?" Ty asked as he got down on one knee and pulled out a lovely blue emerald ring. "Ty I..." Amy struggled to reply. "I.." Amy replied. "It's okay I understand just forget about me even asking I need some space." Ty said as he got into his truck and drove off. "No Ty that's not what I meant" Amy yelled trying to chase after him. Lou spotted her sister running down the driveway and ran over to see what was happening. Amy collapsed into Lou's arms the second she got there. "Ty proposed to me and I freaked then he left, his gone" Amy cried into her sisters arms.
