Chapter 8-Future talk part one

Exiting his truck Ty stood staring at Amy for a brief second before approaching her and hugging her tight. "I'm sorry if I over reacted a bit, I just really love you" Ty said not letting go of his tight grip. Feeling the romantic tension Georgie decided it would best if she gave the two love birds some privacy and headed for her car. Driving up the road towards town, Georgie smiled as a song she loved listening too started playing on the radio. 

Meanwhile Dominic and Lloyd waited for Skye to show up so that she could meet her nephew after all he is super adorable. "Maybe she isn't coming" Lloyd stated looking down in disappointment. "Relax here she comes with Mills" Dominic said as a single look of frustration settled on his face. Stepping out of the truck both skye and Mills face was full of laughter as the two approached the boys. "Sorry we got a bit distracted but i'm here where is this little guy" Skye said as she walked with lloyd into the house. "Mills" Dominic said. Mills took a second and knew the look that dominic was giving him. "Relax Heart i'm not interested in your sister i'm more into men anyway." Mills smiled comforting his friend. "Okay just being cautious and I have given your offer some thought and I think we should do it but there are some conditions" Dominic said leaning over the railing on the porch. 

"I understand what are your conditions?" Mills asked. "Okay so the first is we write songs together and any pay we receive is split evenly between us. The second is that for the remainder of the year I don't want to leave the country. The final one is that we have fun. Can you accept these terms" Dominic asked. "One hundred percent" Mills responded. "Okay then good good. We need a name for our band and then we should get started on writing songs straight away." Dominic said as him and mills got in his truck and drove away. "Hmmm I can't think of a name" Dominic said. "Wow really your usually so good at the whole naming thing." Mills said. "Yeah but this is just so hard maybe Light hearts" Dominic said so unsure of himself. "No that is awful come on man you can do better than that. Come on think Heart, take a second to breathe in and think." Mills stated not taking his eyes of the road. "I've got it Heartfire" Dominic said as the pair pulled into the Heart family ranch. "Knew you could do it" Mills said.       

Entering the house Dominic and mills instantly sat down at the kitchen table and began to work on writing songs as a team. On the Other hand Georgie was having lunch at Maggie's alone enjoying the quiet at least for a few minutes until Jack and tim entered the diner. "It's not up to you Tim I can't keep explaining that to you over and over again." Jack stated nodding his head in disapproval. "Well I still feel like I should get a say how come he hasn't talked to me about it yet and what about Lou and Peter do they know. What about Georgie does she know" Tim shouted. "Do I know what?" Georgie questioned as the two stared at her in shock. "Nothing to concern yourself about what are you doing here anyway I thought you were meant to be working." Jack said. "Nope day off and I came here to eat lunch then might meet Dominic later" Georgie said with a sweet smile. Tim smiled at her response just because of the confidence level that the girl had to talk to Jack like that. "What are you smiling at just order your food and be quick about it since i'm paying again" Jack stated with his stern voice. Georgie smiled at the both of them before grabbing her leather jacket and leaving Maggies.  

"What the hell were you thinking Tim you nearly gave it away" Jack said watching Tim scan the menu. "What seriously she must know by now the kid isn't great at hiding things" Tim said. "Two ranchmans specials please" Jack said to the waitress as she came over to get there orders. "Regardless on what you think Tim it's Dominic's decision on when he tells her and you would do well to remember that." Jack said as his and Tims food was placed in front of them. Meanwhile Georgie was sitting in her car as she texted Dominic. Leaving the parking bay she headed off towards heartland with a smile knowing that her boyfriend is going to come on a horse ride with her. Before she knew it she arrived at heartland parking her car and heading to the barn to tack up Phoenix. Just as she exited the barn Dominic arrived riding wildflower. 

The two head out walking on a trail feeling the warmth that they get by being close together. "I want to talk about something" Georgie said. "Sure what's on your mind" Dominic replied. "Well today in Maggies I overheard some girls talking about how they are not sure about getting married and then some were having fights with their partner while others just found out about their partners cheating on them. It got me thinking about us" Georgie said. "What about us" Dominic Asked in a slightly nervous tone. "Well what exactly does the future hold for me and you is it good, is it bad. What are your plans now that your back are you going to leave again?" Georgie asked stopping her horse and looking at Dominic. "Hey i'm not going anywhere. I want to be here with you." Dominic said. "Well what plans do you have now that your back" Georgie asked a bit more direct this time. "Well if all goes according to plan I am going to help out the music program at hudson high and in my spare time play in my band Heartfire with a friend I went to music school with." Dominic said dismounting wildflower and tying her reins in a knot around a tree. Georgie dismounted Phoenix and did the same before embracing Dominic.
