Chapter 17-The House

Georgie and Dominic were on the other side of Hudson enjoying the wind racing through their hair as they drove however the happy couple quickly came to a stop when they spotted this extremely nice abandoned four bedroom house. "Can you imagine living in a house like this in the future it would be amazing" Georgie said as she went into the house further to explore it. Watching her look at this house as a goal in her life made Dominic have a even bigger smile slide onto his face. "Hey Georgie what about the horses you will need room to put them" Dominic shouted getting her attention. However before they could explore any more of the house Dominic got a call on his phone answering it Dominic became even happier. "Of course man thank you i'll get the contract sent over right away." Dominic said ending the call. "Georgie, I need to get some work done" Dominic shouted once more as he was greeted with a kiss as they then drove back towards heartland. Sharing a Passionate kiss the couple went their separate ways on extremely good terms. bringing the date to a end.

Walking in through the door Lou and Peter waited for her in the kitchen. "Hi Honey how was your date" Lou asked wanting to know. "It was..great" Georgie replied unable to hide her excitement. "Anything Big happen" Peter asked trying not to reveal too much. "Not really we just had a really good time..why are you guys acting weird" Georgie asked. "Were not we just want to know how it went" Lou said. "Okay well i'm going to bed I will see you tomorrow" Georgie responded as she walked to her room.

(7:30 am the next day)

Walking down the stairs Georgie helped herself to breakfast as Lou entered the kitchen to join her. "Still in a good mood from your date then" Lou asked Georgie had a mouthful therefore just nodded her head in response. "Well Amy should be here at any moment Ty said his bringing her home just before he starts his shift at the vet clinic. "Georgie got excited at the prospect that Amy will be home any minute as she missed her a lot. After all she is her favourite aunt. Suddenly she walked through the door and Georgie ran and hugged her "Aww Georgie I missed you too but i'm back and i'm okay." Amy said as she hugged her back before they both broke it off and sat down at the table. "I see that the barn has been finished how on earth is that already rebuilt. " Amy stated, "Well that would be my Boyfriend's doing he never stops helping." Georgie laughed before going back to her breakfast. 

Meanwhile over at the Heart family Ranch Dominic sat in his living room working on his laptop, "Hey what you working on Skye said as her and abbie walked in together. "Just working out the contracts for Echo I need to get them sent over, signed and returned before the end of this year so that everything is ready go for the beginning of next year." Dominic said not braking his eye contact from the word document he was typing. "Well sounds like you got your hands full then aren't you meant to be putting together all the pieces of the proposal for Georgie" Abbie said. Dominic's eyes let up from the computer as he looked at her taking in the words she said. "I am that is true but i have room to do both besides i'm rethinking my plan now anyway" Dominic replied almost hesitating. "What Why" Skye questioned "Tim said the idea is too simple and i think he may be right" Dominic said. "No no no no there is nothing simple about the plan it's romantic and amazing and don't ever let Tim shake your confidence because you know how good it is." Skye coldly stated looking her brothe rin the eye. Dominic had so much to focus on he decided the best way to escape this feeling was to leave and work on the contracts somewhere away from people like the barn. 

However he was deeply mistaken as he set one foot in the barn Wildflower became extremely excited as the two of them haven't really interacted much since he gave her to Skye. "Hey girl, how have you been" Dominic said as he began too stroke her. "Heart, it's been some time" Alex said as Dominic turned around. "Alex..hi" Dominic said nervously. "Relax i'm not here to cause any arguments I work here i'm the stable hand and sometimes I look after Lilly" Alex said. "Wow you've really changed after that video" Dominic stated. "Yeah I wanted to apologise for that it was wrong and I shouldn't have done it I hope you can forgive me but I understand if you can't" Alex responded in a polite manner. "I.. Yes I forgive you we were only kids" Dominic said as he gave wildflower one last stroke and left the barn. Retrieving his phone from his pocket Dominic found peters phone number and gave him a call. 

"Hey I want to talk to you about something with just us" Dominic said. Upon getting a okay from peter Dominic got in his car and drove off towards the town. meeting up with peter in maggies they sat in the corner hoping if anyone came in they wouldn't be seen. "What's up it sounded urgent on the phone. "Okay so you know I want to marry your daughter and I need you to be honest with me when I tell you my plan I need to know if it's bad". Dominic said with a serious worried tone. peter nodded in agreement. "Okay, so me and georgie are going to take a horse ride down to the lake as we are walking down their your family along with mine will hand her white roses and then when we reach the lake we will dismount and after my romantic ballad I will Propose to her. What do you think?" Dominic asked. "Honestly that is the most romantic thing in the entire world why would you be doubting yourself on it" Peter asked. "Just something Tim said about it being too simple", Dominic said.  "Ignore him it's good and trust your gut You've got this." Peter replied as he finished his coffee and left.
