Hey there, sorry it's been a long time. I've just had writer's block, and it's been hectic at my dance studio.
That One Summer, Chapter 8
~Thomas~
God, how could she?! After all I've done for her! Well, acutally, now that I think of it, I haven't done much for her. But still. Doesn't she remember our little make-out session in the kitchen?
I kicked a cup that was lying on the floor. Didn't that kiss mean something to her? I thought she was so sweet and innocent. I guess I don't really know her.
"GOD!!" I screamed before slamming my fist into the wall. I made a hole in the wall. Well, shit. Dad's gonna be super pissed when he sees this. Or maybe he won't see it. It's not like he's ever home.
"Thomas?"
I turn around to see Mallory standing in the doorway.
I just stare at her, keeping my mouth shut.
Don't say anything, don't say anything, DONT say anything. I think to myself.
"Uhh..." Shit, I said something.
"Look, I'm sorry. I didn't know that I wasn't suppose to talk or dance with anybody. Here. I'll spend the rest of the night with you, and the hole in the wall." She said, stepping closer to me.
"Uh..."
"Nope. You being mad is all my fault. So, I'm sorry. Wanna drink of my soda?" She sticks the cup in my face, and I can see it's Coke or Pepsi.
"Uhh..."
"Oh my god, Is that all you can say?!" She yells.
"I come over, and apologize for something that I shouldn't even be sorry for, because it's a fucking party! A party is a place where you can have fun. And we're not even dating or anything!" She yells. And as she's yelling, she spills her Coke or Pepsi on me.
"OH. I'm sorry. Did I spill my drink on you?!" She says before throwing the cup on the floor and storming off.
Ah shit. I messed it up.
~Mallory~
God. What a freaking ass hole.
I storm back to the living room, where the dancing is going on. I look around for Brent. Then I spot him at the bar. I smile and walk over to him, making sure I'm showing off some clevege.
"Hey there." I say as I walk up to him. I looks at me, and his eyes grow big.
"Hey ther to you. You're that girl I danced with, right?"
"Correct." I step closer to him.
"Well, I didn't catch your name, or your number."
"Hah." I laugh. What a horrible pick up line.
"The name's Mallory, you're Brent right?"
"Haha, correct." He smirks.
"Well, wanna dance again?"
"Oh, of course." He grabs my waist, and leads me to the dance floor.
Once again, we're on the dance floor with our hips glued together. The air felt hot and humid. When the song ended, I turned around and smiled at him. He put his arms tightly on my waist and bent down trying to kiss me. I turned my head and he kissed my cheek.
"Hey baby, don't be like that."
"Sorry, I'm sort of seeing someone." I try to get out of his grip.
"Shh. Coome ooonnn!" He breaths in my face. Then I remembered that we're at party. A party where people get drunk and stupid.
Well, I'm just stupid right now, I'm not drunk.
"BRENT! Let. Me. The. Fuck. GO!" I scream.
"Aw c'mon babe. You want me.
"No! Let go of me!"
"Brent, let her go." I turn around and see Thomas.
"Thomas. Go away. This has nothing to do with you." Brent growls.
"Brent. Let's not go through this again."
Again? What? Did Thomas have another girl?
Then, Thomas punched Brent in the face, and from the looks of it, Brent was knocked out.
"Oh my god! Thomas." I cry and run into his arms. He goes stiff at first, but then after a little bit, he wraps his arms around me and kisses the top of my hair.
"I'm sorry." He whispers into my hair. I shake my head.
"No. I shouldn't have danced with Brent." I mumble into his shirt. He smells good.
"You smell good." I whisper.
"So do you." He whispers out. I get startled when he yells, "Everyone OUT!! Or I'll call the police!" Just like that, the house is cleared out. People drag the people who are passed out.
"Why did you do that?" I ask looking up into his eyes.
"To do this." He leans down and kisses me. I instantly react by kissing him back.
He pulls away.
"How about we never fight again?" I whisper.
"Deal."
And our deal is sealed with another kiss.
