You're Useless [Kenny McCormick x Reader]

another announcement!

sorry to those who thought that this was another story update :(

i thought it'd just be fun to talk about the story a little bit! tell you guys some stuff you didn't know about it;

to begin, the chapter that (y/n) crashed in the school bus w/ kyle and the other students was based on a true story. the day i wrote it, our bus driver almost crashed us. we were coming back from a meet and it was super windy and he was driving way too fast. so yeah, i almost died and this story almost wasn't completed. cool, huh?

second off, i want to apologize for how kyle came out 💀
he was supposed to be the sweet best friend, who eventually dated you and tried to keep kenny away while you eventually realized that you weren't actually in love with him and was instead in love with kenny. instead i made him a scary, evil man who got literally obliterated. sorry haha

third, kind of side by side of number two, after kyle died i decided i wanted this story to be as devastating and heart clenching as possible. yeah, you can tell where it just continually goes down hill. but clyde was always supposed to be a bad guy, as much as i love him irl. i feel like i made him way too nice in the beginning (despite the mean comment he made about bebe at first).

also! im sorry for kennys lack of personality (?) towards the end. that was purposeful. it was indented to show how much someone can be beaten down overtime with all of the shit they've been through because ken went through a LOT here. regular ken baby came out during his vows, but you can tell how sad and mellow he is the rest of the time.

someone pointed this out already (good eye, by the way!), but it was said that scott died during the bus ride, right? but it was also later than said that he drove (y/n) home from the hospital. how was this possible? was it a mistake? no, it was not. i added this confusing detail in to show how crazy (y/n) was going. i mean, clearly she was delusional. she decided to have sex w her boyfriend after watching him cheat on her. she was fucked up and that was meant to show how much so. in reality, she hitch hiked. the guy in the car wasn't scott, she was just grabbing for some regularity.

but as stated before, a prequel is posted! it's about john and diana, (y/n)'s parents. it'll make some things in here clearer! and there's still south park included :)
