Hospital? Again?

I woke up to the sounds of beeping. I slowly fluttered my eyes trying to adjust to the lighting. I looked over and saw Mingi sitting on the side of my bed holding my hand. "Mingi" I said lightly. "Oh thank God princess you scared you" he said shaking. "What happened?" I asked "Sweetheart, they found another bleed, which caused you to pass out, they said that the events today caused it, I'm so sorry" he said as tears streamed down his face. I gently wiped them away "Hey baby it's okay, you didn't know. It's not your fault okay, hey look at me. It's not your fault, okay?" I said sweetly. He just nodded and laid his head on my lap. He told me that they would have to do another surgery to stop the bleeding and that there is a chance that I might lose my memory or I might develop short term memory loss.

I told him that I was going to do the surgery no matter what because I'd rather lose my memory than lose my life. "Hey baby, can you do me a favor and ask the nurse for a notebook and a pen. Please" I asked, he nodded and exited the room. A few moments later he came back with just that.

I pulled the table towards me as I sat the notebook in front of me and started writing.

Listen you've been through a lot in the last month, but I need you to listen to me. You got out. You got out of the mess you were in while living in your car, you got out. You landed this great job where you take care of the band Ateez. After a while you all fell for each other. Yeah yeah I know, but it's true, you fell in love with 8 sweet, loving, kind beautiful boys, who have become your world. One day you went on a date with San, you fell and hit your head and got a brain bleed, they fixed it  tho, but just yesterday you went to an amusement park with Mingi and the movement cause another brain bleed. You have to undergo surgery again, but listen to me. There is a chance you lose your memory, have short term memory loss or nothing at all happens to you. What I need you to understand is, no matter how much you want to flee, you can't. You love these crazy boys and they are your world. I've instructed them to go slow and try and help you regain that love. Just please don't leave, please be happy and love til your hearts content. I love you hunny. Be happy, it's okay to be happy

You signed the bottom of the paper folded it up and handed it to Mingi. "Keep this, if I wake up and don't remember anything give me this note, okay?" I asked. "Okay princess" he said nodding. The doctor came back in and asked if I was ready and I said yes. He put medicine in my IV that he said would make me tired once we got to the OR. He moved the table and raised the guard rails and wheeled me out of the room. "We will all be here waiting for you when you wake up princess, I love you" he said kissing me on the lips one last time.

I woke up to the sounds of beeping and I was having a hard time breathing. I started reaching out gasping for air. What I would assume to be a nurse told me to relax and put and oxygen mask on my face. She told me I had just undergone brain surgery and that everything was okay. I was still very confused because the last thing I remembered was running into a guy with a job opportunity. Did he hurt me. Is that why I had to have surgery. What happened. I had so many thought running through head causing it to hurt. "Just calm down hunny, try not to think too much right now. We are about to take you back to your room. You have a couple people that are waiting to see you." She said smiling.

As they wheeled me back to my room I saw 8 boys standing in my room pacing frantically. They pushed me through the door and set up my bed. I couldn't process who they were but they seemed familiar. They all looked ecstatic when they saw me. "I'm sorry but who are you boys" I said very confused. "Here princess, just read this" one of the boys said handing me a folded up piece of paper.

After reading the note I apparently left myself before surgery. I just looked up. They were all staring at me, I guess hoping that the note would jog my memorg but it didn't, I still had no idea who they were, but I trusted myself that my note was true and that I did love them. I just had to remember. "So all 8 of you are really my boyfriends?" I asked "Yes" one of the boys said stepping forward.

Just then the door opened and it was the man I ran into about the job. "Hey y/n, how are you feeling, what's the last thing you remember?" He asked "You, you are the last thing I remember, everything else is just blank. How long has it been since that day?" "About a month, I brought in the paperwork you signed before, so you can go over it again and decided whether or not you want to continue with the job, I'll just leave it with you and the boys can bring it back if you decide to stay. I hope to see you soon" he said bowing and walking out the door.

After reading over the paper work and thinking for a while. I knew if there was anyone in this world I could trust it was myself. I flipped to the last page and quickly signed my name. The boys looked at me with smiles on their faces which caused me to giggle. Next thing I know a blonde haired boy ran up to me and kissed me. My head immediately started hurting and all I heard was myself saying Mingi in my head. He pulled away and immediately apologized. "Mingi?" I questioned "Yes? That's right, that's me. How did you know" he asked "The little voice in my head yelled your name the moment you kissed me" I said giggling.

After a couple of hours of talking the doctor came back in and told us that I could go home. I just needed to rest for a couple of weeks. We packed me up and they walked me to the car. The drive was silent. Not awkward, just silent.
