December 23rd, 2007—5 months later...

Winter descended upon Los Angeles, and with it came a bitter cold that seemed to seep into Sixx's bones. The city, draped in twinkling holiday lights, held the promise of joy and celebration.

But for Sixx, it was a time of spiralling darkness and worsening addiction.

His once-promising music career had taken a sharp downturn. Rehearsals with DJ, James and Rae became increasingly sporadic as Sixx would vanish for days at a time. He was no longer the passionate, driven musician they had met months ago. Instead, he was consumed by his cravings and his growing dependence on the drugs that threatened to destroy him.

Nights were the worst. He'd made secretive visits to Denny's, meeting with Dan, his ruthless drug dealer from Van Nuys. Whilst Sixx resented the grip that heroin had on him, he couldn't escape its seductive embrace.

The songs he penned were dark, a reflection of the turmoil within him. Lyrics dripped with despair and melodies were heavy with the weight of his addiction. He'd scrawled these songs in a tattered diary, one that served as a twisted confessional. He hid it in a closet, along with his stash of drugs and the gun—a symbol of the growing paranoia and delusions that plagued him.

On his worst days, he'd lock himself in that closet, barricading the world outside. There, amid the dim glow of a flickering candle, he'd indulge in his dark desires. The drugs offered temporary respite from the voices that whispered in his head—phantom voices, little green men that danced at the edges of his vision. They mocked him, taunted him, and urged him deeper into the abyss.

For Rae, those days were painful and agonising. She bore the weight of Sixx's addiction in silence, a heavy burden she dared not to share with anyone. She became a hostage to his unpredictable moods and desires, forced to meet his demands, most of which were driven by his insatiable lust.

The man she had once admired was slipping further and further away, replaced by a volatile and unpredictable stranger.

The moment Sixx stepped out of the apartment one day, leaving behind an air of tension and despair, Rae seized the opportunity to act. She knew that the situation had reached its breaking point, and she couldn't bear to see Sixx continue down this destructive path. Determination burned in her eyes as she picked up her phone and dialled a number. As the phone rang, her heart pounded in her chest.

"Hello?" James's voice came through the line.

"James, it's Rae," Rae's voice wavered, betraying the anxiety that clenched her. "We need to talk. It's about Sixx."

"Rae, what's going on? Is everything okay?"

There was a pause on the other end of the line.

"I... I've been hiding something," she admitted, her voice cracking. "Sixx... he's been struggling with a drug addiction. It's getting worse, and I can't handle it alone anymore. I'm scared."
