CH 9 - Art

Right on schedule that evening, Jungkook got a notification that the driver was downstairs. He and Yeonjun had been joking around earlier while getting ready.

(Flashback to earlier that evening)

Yeonjun thought maybe he was being set up, and wanted to know the essential question. "So is his friend is cute?" the younger man asked.

Jungkook thought to when he first saw Jimin walk into the café with the little birds on his shoulder. It was weird to be sure, but also... "He's adorable. But not as good looking as Taehyung."

The next important question that Yeonjun needed to know was, "Is he single?" To which Jungkook shrugged and responded,  "I didn't ask."

The questioning from his roommate continued. "Where is Tae's apartment anyways?" Yeonjun's eyebrows narrowed as Jungkook shrugged again. "What do you two talk about then?" he asked.

Jungkook's eyes grew larger as he thought about the many dates he had gone on with the angel. "Honestly, I can barely remember. Whenever I look at him, I go into a bit of a trance and forget things."

"So you don't really know much about him. He could be a serial killer for all you know." Yeonjun was only half kidding. "Maybe he's luring us to a death trap. It could be like Saw or something."

Jungkook narrowed his eyes at his friend. "Dude, chill. You know he's not like that."

Shrugging, Yeonjun said, "We shall see. If I die tonight, I'm going to haunt you forever."

Jungkook rolled his eyes at his friend as they continued to get changed. They hadn't been waiting long before getting the notice to meet the driver. So they finished getting ready and rushed downstairs. 

As they were driven to Taehyung's place they watched out the windows as they went from their modest neighborhood towards the high-end Hannam-dong. Yeonjun let out a low whistle before saying, "He must be rich." 

"We kind of knew that already, right?" Jungkook assumed based off of their first date and several subsequent dates that Taehyung was indeed wealthy.

As they passed very expensive looking apartment complexes Yeonjun added, "But I mean really rich."

They sat quietly for the rest of the drive and continued staring out the car windows. When the car approached a gated entrance, Yeonjun once again whistled under his breath. "I've heard of this place. Lots of idols and celebrities live here."

"That makes sense, since he's friends with those actors I met." Jungkook thought about their first date and how close Taehyung seemed to be with the famous chef and actor couple. As the driver pulled to a stop, the two young men got out and looked around. Jungkook began grinning from ear to ear when he saw Taehyung walk down a corridor towards them.

"You made it!" Taehyung walked over and kissed Jungkook on the cheek, making him blush, and then bowed to Yeonjun.

Yeonjun was still looking around the apartment wondering if he'd see anyone famous. "This is a nice area. Have you lived here long?"

"I've been here for a few years."  Taehyung led them to an elevator and they rode up to the top floor. When they entered his apartment, Yeonjun and Jungkook both gasped. Taehyung turned to look at them. "Do you not like it?"

"No, it's gorgeous." Jungkook was a bit shocked at how incredible the apartment actually was.
