4 months later

Jungkook and Taehyung were in bed, legs entwined, having just enjoyed some morning sex. Neither of them wore any clothes, but had a sheet covering them. Taehyung rolled over on his stomach, neck turned to look at Jungkook who was humming happily while running his fingers through Taehyung's dark locks.

As Tae flipped over, the sheet slipped down to cover only his lower half. Jungkook glanced down and grimaced slightly at the large scars on Taehyung's back. He ran his fingers gently over the scar and pulled his hand back when his love flinched. "Does it still hurt baby?" Jungkook asked.

"No not at all, but I'm still a bit sensitive." Taehyung rolled to his side turning towards Jungkook, and reached out for his hand. He smiled as he saw the promise ring on Jungkook's ring finger and brought it to his lips, kissing his hand lightly. "I still feel my wings there, even though I know they're not. Chan said that can last for a couple of years."

Jungkook's eyebrows knitted as he thought about Taehyung meeting with Chan. The two got together just about every couple of weeks. Jungkook wasn't sure he liked Chan having any influence over Taehyung, but had to admit that the other fallen angel helped speed up Tae's recovery.

Between meetings with Chan and his counseling sessions, Taehyung rarely had the bad dreams anymore. He still got occasional mood swings, but those were becoming fewer and farther between. Taehyung had made such a big improvement within the first two months of counseling, that Hobi went back to work on the sun in March. Jimin stuck around a bit longer, heading back to the Congo a few weeks ago.

Interrupting Jungkook's thoughts Taehyung asked, "Are you excited for the school exhibition tonight?"

Jungkook nodded his head. "It seems unreal that graduation is only three days away," Jungkook replied. "I'm excited to show off my new painting. Maybe I can find someone to buy it?" he wondered out loud. Jungkook was quiet for a minute and then looked over at Tae, "And I can't wait to watch Yeonjun's performance. He's been working so hard on his solo."

"I'm so proud of you and what you've accomplished," said Taehyung. "Both Yeonjun and you have done so good. It makes me very happy to know that I contributed a little to your success."

"A little? Without you neither of us would have gotten this far in school. We might still be struggling to come up with the funds," Jungkook added. Jungkook wrapped his arms around his angel and pulled him into a hug.

They remained cuddled together until they heard a light tap on the door. From the hallway, Yeonjun asked, "Soobin and I made breakfast. Do you two want any?"

Jungkook turned to look at Taehyung with an arched eyebrow. Taehyung giggled and quietly said, "I could eat. And I just heard your stomach rumbling, so I know you're hungry."

"We'll be right there," Jungkook yelled through the closed door.

The two quickly threw on some joggers and t-shirts and joined the other two in the dining room. Yeonjun had set up the table and even made mimosas. As the two entered, Yeonjun handed them both a flute.

"What's the occasion?" Jungkook asked. The spread looked much fancier than a normal Wednesday morning breakfast.

Soobin came in and set down a stack of pancakes next to the kimchi fried rice and bacon. He then placed an arm around Yeonjun's waist. "I wanted to thank you, Tae, for all of your support over the past four years," Yeonjun began. He smiled when Taehyung's cheeks grew pink as he tried to wave him off. Yeonjun knew that without Taehyung, his next announcement would not have been possible. Continuing, Yeonjun said, "Don't be humble. You & Kook-ah really helped me realize my dream of dancing."
