"They really made your work more complicated, didn't they?" Loki asked Heimdall with amusement. "I wonder if more of these kinds of things will happen. Because if it does then we are going to need a new announcer to replace you."
"There is no need to worry about that." Heimdall said while looking at Loki with anger. "I'm a professional with centuries of experience, it doesn't matter what will happen. I will adapt."
"You're amazing Lord Heimdall!" Jarl exclaimed with a smile from ear to ear.
"WH-WHAT A DEVELOPMENT, FOLKS!" Heimdall exclaimed as the two fighters finished their last-minute preparations, such as Adam stretching a little bit and Zeus giving one last look of superior excitement to the mortal. "THE WEAPON ADAM HAS OBTAINED THROUGH VÖLUNDR IS NONE OTHER THAN A KNUCKLEDUSTER!!"
"I don't really get what's the deal with everyone's reaction." Adam said while scratching the back of his head in confusion. "I like the weapon, and it is the thing that works best with how I fight... at least for the few things I've done it."
"It isn't something fancy or big, so it is something that the gods look down on." Brunhild explained to the father of humanity in the polite manner. "And that's without mentioning that hand to hand combat is Zeus specialty. In the eyes of them it might seem that you are choosing to fight against him in his own domain as a sign of challenge."
"...I'm only fighting hand to hand because there were no weapons while I was alive." Adam said while leaning his head to the side while also shrugging his shoulders.
"The gods don't really care about that." Reginleif sighed while looking at the gods with annoyance.
"THIS MAN INTENDS TO HAVE AN ALL-OUT FIST FIGHT WITH THE GOD ZEUS!!" Heimdall exclaimed in amazement. Then both Zeus and Adam were done with their preparations, making the announcer to back away to give them space. "COULD THERE BE ANYTHING MORE MANLY THAN THAT!?"
"Or at least most gods don't care about that." Reginleif said before turning to look at Heimdall with a surprised expression. "I wasn't expecting you to have such a positive reaction about Lord Adam fighting bare handed, Lord Heimdall."
"I'm the announcer." Heimdall said while pointing at himself with pride. "Anything that allows me to make the fight more entertaining is welcomed to happen."
While the Valkyrie and the god were having this small conversation there was another talk happening between the two first human lovers.
"Are you okay dear?" Eve asked her husband with a concerned expression. "You don't seem to be in a good mood."
"I don't really like fighting." Adam admitted with a guilty sigh. "If anything, I would prefer to talk this out, convince him that he shouldn't try to destroy humanity. But if things have come to this point, then I have no other choice..."
